This bet can be found under the “Match Parlays” tab. This game sees top-of-the-league Arsenal face off against an overachieving Sunderland team, who were promoted from the Championship a season ago. I like Arsenal to win this one and keep a clean sheet, in large part because this is the best team and defense in the league.
However, Sunderland being as poor as they are away from home certainly helps my case. The Black Cats are elite at home and are the only unbeaten team at their home stadium so far this season. They have collected 26 points from 12 home games, the third-best mark in the league. On the road, however, has been a different story. Only three teams have secured fewer points on their travels than Sunderland. The Black Cats have won two, drawn four and lost six of their road games so far this season while conceding the fourth most goals and scoring the second fewest.
On the flip side, Arsenal have been elite at home. They are tied for the most home points in the league, winning nine of their 12 games, drawing two and losing one. They have only conceded eight times at the Emirates, joint for the best record. This is an elite home side, who are six points clear at the top of the table, against an overachieving Sunderland team who are much better at home.
I like the Gunners to keep a clean sheet in this one while collecting the three points.
