Another day, another intriguing slate of NBA action. Seven games between 14 teams are set to tip off tonight, giving bettors ample choices. It all gets started with a potential NBA Finals preview between the Nuggets and the Knicks. Elsewhere, the Celtics battle the Rockets in a clash between contenders. To close things out, the Spurs and Thunder renew their budding rivalry in Texas.

Karl-Anthony Towns 12+ rebounds (-125)
Few stars in the NBA have had a more tumultuous season than Karl-Anthony Towns. Although the Knicks have won seven straight, their starting center has struggled offensively in recent weeks. Through his last 15 appearances, KAT is averaging just 15.3 points per game on 43% shooting. During that stretch, he’s reached 20+ points only four times. With that being said, the big man remains a force on the glass. Towns has snagged at least 13 rebounds in each of his last four outings.
On Wednesday, KAT will get a chance to pad his numbers against the Nuggets. Nikola Jokic, a week into his return from a knee injury, may not suit up. Even if the MVP does play, it’ll likely be on a minutes restriction. Power forward Aaron Gordon (hamstring) is out, leaving Denver vulnerable in the frontcourt. Over his last four meetings with the Nuggets, Towns has recorded 12.5 rebounds per game. A similar effort against a hobbled Jokic is a real possibility tonight.
Derrick White under 2.5 three-pointers made (-125)
The typically reliable Derrick White has been a slight disappointment on offense this season. Boston’s two-way threat remains a terrific contributor, but his shooting has been inconsistent at best. Through 48 games, the guard is averaging 17.1 points while making only 39% of his field goal attempts. From beyond the arc, he’s knocking down 2.8 of his 8.7 three-point heaves (32%). It’s a far cry from what we’ve come to expect from a player with career 44/36/86 shooting splits.
White, if nothing else, is usually a decent bet when it comes to racking up counting stats. As Boston’s second option behind Jaylen Brown, he’s usually granted a decent amount of touches. With that being said, Wednesday’s contest could prove difficult. The Rockets wield one of the sport’s best defenses, holding teams to the NBA’s fourth-fewest points per game (110.0). In addition, Houston has held opponents to just 12.1 three-pointers made per game, fourth-fewest in basketball. White has made 3+ treys just twice over his previous 11 outings. It’s difficult to envision that trend reversing course tonight.
Zion Williamson over 10.5 assists + rebounds (+100)
Looking for a reason, any reason to watch the Pelicans? Zion Williamson is finally healthy and putting up some impressive numbers. This season, the power forward has notched 21.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. From the field, he’s shooting 58%. He might not be at peak All-Star form, but the 25-year-old isn’t too far off, either. On an otherwise subpar New Orleans roster, Zion commands a heavy workload. His 27.6% usage rate is tied for the 18th-highest mark in basketball.
This evening, Williamson will have a golden opportunity on tap against the Bucks. Giannis Antetokounmpo remains ‘injured’ due to a calf ailment. As a result, there’s not much resistance inside the paint. Even with the Greek Freak healthy, this group has struggled on defense. Milwaukee is giving up the eighth-most rebounds (54.9) and 13th-most assists (27.0) per game to opponents. Zion has snagged at least 11 assists + rebounds in five of his last six games. In fact, the high flying forward could reach this total in boards alone. At plus money, there’s plenty of value here for bettors.
