We’ve got a heavyweight rivalry battle on Saturday to settle. The San Francisco 49ers travel to Seattle for a tie-breaking matchup with the Seahawks. The offenses will be at the center of things, and that means a heavy dose of superstar Niners running back Christian McCaffrey.

Here’s a look at my favorite Christian McCaffrey prop on DraftKings Sportsbook to consider from this Divisional Round matchup.

Christian McCaffrey Under 54.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Don’t get me wrong: Christian McCaffrey is having an incredible season. The workload he has shouldered for a banged-up 49ers team has been astounding, taking 413 touches for over 2,100 total scrimmage yards. He’s one of a handful of players to lead his team in rushing and receiving. But his workload has come at a price: McCaffrey’s 3.9 yards per carry on the season is the lowest mark he’s recorded since his rookie season.

His matchups with the Seahawks have not helped. Across those Week 1 and Week 18 games, CMC ran the ball 30 times for 92 yards. That 3.1 YPC average is not getting it done. He’s coming off a 15-carry, 48-yard performance against an equally strong Eagles front seven. Even with good volume, the rushing production has not been there for the four-time Pro Bowler.

CMC will get his in the receiving game, and the Niners will need to pass early and often if they hope to solve this Seattle defense. The quality of this defense will limit their opportunities to move the ball downfield. In turn, that increases the need for chunk gains to steal points away. McCaffrey will be involved in those plays through the air, but he hasn’t ripped off explosive runs. The quality of Seattle’s defense and the lack of game script are too much for a declining runner like McCaffrey to overcome.
