The NFL’s Divisional Round kicks off on Saturday afternoon, starting with an AFC matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High.
The Broncos (14–3) are fresh off capturing the AFC West title, the No. 1 seed, and a first-round bye. Now, they’ll get a chance to avenge last season’s Wild Card loss to Josh Allen and the Bills (12–5) — a defeat that spoiled Denver’s first playoff appearance since winning the Super Bowl in 2016.
Lining up against the reigning MVP is second-year signal-caller Bo Nix, who’s looking to become the first Broncos QB to win a playoff game since Peyton Manning took them all the way.
Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. ET. Denver enters as a slight 1.5-point home favorite, while Buffalo sits at -105 on the moneyline. The game’s total is set at 45.5 points.

Bo Nix is used to having a shutdown secondary on his side — but on Saturday night, he’ll have to go up against one.
Denver boasts one of the league’s most tenacious defensive backfields, and Buffalo is equally formidable. The Bills allowed the NFL’s fewest completions and passing yards during the 2025 regular season, ranked sixth in opponent passing touchdowns, and were top five in completion rate (4th) and yards per pass attempt (T-3rd).
But Buffalo’s defense has a glaring vulnerability: the run. The Bills gave up the league’s fifth-most rushing yards on the third-highest yards per carry (5.1) and tied the Cowboys for the most rushing touchdowns allowed (24). Opposing quarterbacks found continued success on the ground, combining for 368 rushing yards — the fifth-most against any NFL team this season.
Nix can exploit that weakness. The 25-year-old signal-caller flashed his mobility throughout the regular season, totalling 356 yards and five touchdowns on 83 carries. He recorded at least 30 rushing yards in five games this season and took off for 40-plus in each of his last two outings.
The former Oregon standout now seems poised to follow in the footsteps of Jacksonville’s Trevor Lawrence, who handled six carries for 31 yards against the Bills in last week’s Wild Card matchup.
With Buffalo blanketing the Broncos’ pass-catchers, Nix will likely rely on his legs to move the ball — and he is well-positioned to top 30 rushing yards on Saturday night.
