Amen Thompson, Houston Rockets vs. Chicago Bulls ($8,300)
The Rockets’ offense primarily flows through Alperen Sengun and Kevin Durant. The usage rate for Thompson is 21.1% on the season. That said, he’s a menace in transition and gets plenty of easy looks from cutting as defenses focus on Durant and Sengun. He’s scored at least 20 points in six of the last seven games. What is most appealing about Thompson, though, are his contributions in the defensive categories while producing plenty of boards and dimes. He’s put up 55 FPTS in two of the last three games and the matchup on Tuesday fits him like a tailored suit because Chicago is third in pace and 25th in defensive rating.

Jalen Pickett, Denver Nuggets at New Orleans Pelicans ($5,000)
Jamal Murray has missed three of the last four games due to an ankle injury. Pickett received the start in those contests and played 42, 33 and 37 minutes while putting up over 25 FPTS in all three games with a high of 47.2 FPTS. Murray is questionable for Tuesday and is also dealing with an illness in addition to the ankle issue. If Murray is cleared to play and does start, then pivot to another option.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks vs. Minnesota Timberwolves ($10,800)
I was going to go with Peyton Watson because of the price and recent production, as I thought there was a chance he could finish close to Antetokounmpo. But then I remembered that Rudy Gobert will be out for Minnesota, which opens up the path to a ceiling outcome for Antetokounmpo. The Bucks’ superstar has gone over 80 FPTS twice this season.

Royce O’Neale, Phoenix Suns at Miami Heat ($5,200)
There are some in the fantasy streets who wear flashy clothes, have bling hanging from the neck and would windmill dunk if a kid passed the ball while walking past the neighborhood court. O’Neale ain’t that from a fantasy perspective. He’s the boring khaki-wearing, Prius-driving, squint without glasses player. That said, he’s put up over 33 FPTS in three of the last four games. He’s scored double-digit points in all, but on low volume. On offense, he’s out there to space the floor and drain the open J when defenses converge on Devin Booker. The allure of O’Neale is that he contributes a little something in every category. He’s grabbed at least six rebounds in five straight while dishing out at least three dimes in four of the last five contests. He’s also racked up two steals in three of the last four contests.

Alperen Sengun, Houston Rockets vs. Chicago Bulls ($9,100)
Sengun returned from a three-game absence and put up 42.2 FPTS in 35 minutes. Sengun has developed into one of the most well-rounded players in the NBA. He has one triple-double on the season and is averaging career-highs in both steals (1.5) and blocks (1.0). Chicago plays fast and eschews defense, so there should be plenty of opportunities for Sengun to rack up fantasy goodies.

Zeke Nnaji, Denver Nuggets at New Orleans Pelicans ($4,300)
Since Nikola Jokic went down with an injury, Nnaji has averaged 24.7 minutes over six games. He has two games in the teens for FPTS, but he also has two games with at least 40 FPTS. He has three games with two blocks and two steals while scoring double-digit points in all but one contest. The only thing he doesn’t do is dish out dimes. The range of outcomes is wide, but the potential upside is worth it.
