The big boys in the Premier League will start their FA Cup campaigns this weekend as the third round of the competition has arrived. League One side Exeter City are making the trip to Manchester to take on Man City.

Man City are -2000 favorites on the moneyline for this one on DraftKings Sportsbook, with a draw available at +1000. Fancy an Exeter City upset? The third division side are +1600 to win inside the 90 minutes.

Man City vs. Exeter City Prediction, Pick

This bet can be found under the “Team Props” tab. There’s a good reason these odds are what they are. The gap between second place in the Premier League and 14th place in League One cannot be understated. In the English football pyramid, Man City are 55 places above their competition. When you factor in that the Citizens are at home, this game can only go one way.

Despite three consecutive draws, Man City should bounce back in this one against far inferior competition. They have played two lower league teams so far this season in the Carabao Cup. First, they beat fellow League One team Huddersfield Town 2-0 away in the third round of the competition. Then, they faced Championship side Swansea City in the fourth round, dispatching them 3-1 away from home as well. Both of those games were away, and both of those teams sit above Exeter City in the pyramid.

Now, let’s take a look at Exeter’s offensive prowess, or lack thereof. The League One side have scored 25 times in 24 games, with only five teams in the division scoring less. If they already struggle to score in the third division of English football, I have no idea how they’re going to get it done at the Etihad.

This should be a comfortable win for Man City, and I’d be quite shocked if they conceded a goal in the process.

The Pick: Exeter City Under 0.5 Goals (-145)
