What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas — except for coaching careers.
The Raiders announced Monday that they’re parting ways with former Super Bowl-winning head coach Pete Carroll, who led them to a league-worst 3–14 record in his first season after coming out of retirement. Minority owner Tom Brady is expected to help lead the team’s search for a new skipper.
Las Vegas is headed for a rebuild after ranking dead last in virtually every offensive category. The silver lining? The Raiders hold the first overall pick in the draft and are heading into 2026 with a clean slate.
The big question now: Who’s going to take the reins?
Here’s a look at the top options for the Raiders’ next head coach, with odds powered by DraftKings Sportsbook.
Raiders next head coach odds
Klint Kubiak (+300)
The current offensive coordinator for the 14–3 Seahawks, Klint Kubiak has catalyzed the NFL’s third-highest scoring offense on the way to capturing the NFC’s No. 1 seed in the playoffs. He could help Las Vegas maximize the potential of its young core, just as he helped quarterback Sam Darnold and star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba reach new heights.
Kevin Stefanski (+500)
The Browns fired head coach Kevin Stefanski after posting a 45–56 record in six seasons at the helm. The two-time AP Coach of the Year is “expected to speak” with the Falcons, Giants, and Titans, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter — and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he entertained a call from the rebuilding Raiders as well.
Joe Brady (+750)
The current offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills, Joe Brady is viewed as incredibly experienced for his age with head coaching in his near future. He’s lauded for exceptional quarterback development, including reigning MVP Josh Allen, as well as Joe Burrow during his time at LSU. If the Raiders choose to draft Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza, trusting Brady with his development could be a no-brainer.
Rounding out the top five are former Packers and Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy (+800) and Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy (+800).
