A 12-5 record is an impressive mark, yet it wasn’t enough for the Bills to win their sixth straight AFC East title. Buffalo fell short of this feat and will enter the postseason as the No. 6 seed. It’ll be an uphill battle for Buffalo, who will play on the road during Wild Card Weekend.

The Bills will take on the Jaguars, who earned the No. 3 seed after winning the AFC South. This isn’t a pity division crown like in some years. Jacksonville finished the season with a 13-4 record and on an eight game win streak.

Here are the opening odds via DraftKings Sportsbook for the 2026 AFC Wild Card Round matchup between the Jaguars and Bills.

Jaguars vs. Bills Opening Odds on DraftKings Sportsbook

Despite playing on the road, the Bills open as slight favorites against the Jaguars. Buffalo is -1.5 on the spread and -118 on the moneyline, while Jacksonville is -102. The over/under for this game is set at 50.5 points.

This is arguably the tightest matchup of Wild Card Weekend. The Bills are a perennial postseason club with Josh Allen under center. No matter the supporting cast, Buffalo is a threat with Allen healthy.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars last made the playoffs in 2022 as a 9-8 squad. They haven’t had a 10+ win season since 2017 when they reached the AFC Championship. This is a much-more inexperienced team as Trevor Lawrence makes just his second postseason start. Additionally, it’s Liam Coen’s first year as head coach with the organization.
