If Chicago loses its grip on the second seed and falls to third, it gets a date with either the Los Angeles Rams or the San Francisco 49ers. Those aren’t teams you want to face. Suffice to say, the stakes are high in this seeding battle.
Caleb Williams will be playing at 110% in this one. That extra bit of motivation that humiliating a rival would bring makes me think Ben Johnson is pulling out all the passing tricks in this one. Detroit’s secondary has sustained a lot of losses since these two teams last played; Williams will put a bow on a great season.
