NBA Best Bets: Spurs vs. Wizards Prop Bets for Sunday 12/21/25

The NBA has six games on the schedule this Sunday, and in one of the three evening matchups, the San Antonio Spurs visit the Washington Wizards.

The Spurs have turned things around with a strong start to the season, while the Wizards continue to struggle. With a bunch of fun young players on each side of the matchup, there are plenty of player prop bets to consider on DraftKings Sportsbook. In the bigger picture, the Spurs are heavy 16.5-point road favorites, with the game total set at 236.5.

The Wizards won the first game of their back-to-back on Saturday night by beating the Grizzlies, 130-122. The Spurs have won five of their last six games, with their only loss in the NBA Cup Championship to the Knicks. The Spurs are 20-7 coming into the matchup, while the Wizards are only 5-21. The two teams met in San Antonio last Thursday, with the Spurs  winning, 130-122.

Check out my top player prop bets for this rematch.

Spurs vs. Wizards Best Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Kyshawn George over 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-118)

George has been one of the most productive young options on the Wizards this season, as the second-year forward has shown a lot of upside and good consistency as well. After averaging only 8.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists for 15.4 PRA (points, rebounds and assists) in his rookie season,

He is averaging 15.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 5.0 assists for 26.2 PRA per game this year. He went over this PRA total in three of his last five games with 20 and 24 PRA in his two games under, finishing very close to this line. He had 24 PRA (11 points, six rebounds, seven assists) in 36 minutes in the first meeting between these teams, ans he should be able to do more work at home in this rematch.

The Wizards will be without Alexandre Sarr (adductor), Khris Middleton (knee injury management), Bilal Coulibaly (oblique), Cam Whitmore (shoulder) and Corey Kispert (thumb), and with all those players out, George should be set to carry the workload on Sunday night.

Justin Champagnie over 7.5 rebounds (+109)

Justin Champagnie has been very active on the boards over the last few games for the Wizards. He should have a clear path to playing time in this matchup against his twin brother Julian Champagnie and the rest of the Spurs.

Champagnie has gone over this rebounds prop line in three straight games and has at least seven boards in  seven of his last eight. Champagnie only played 18 minutes against the Spurs last week but was able to grab nine boards in that limited time.

With all those options unavailable discussed above, Champagnie should get plenty of minutes and the opportunity to get plenty of rebounds.

De’Aaron Fox under 20.5 points (-126)

Point guards have absolutely smashed against the Wizards this season, but I’m still comfortable taking the under on Fox’s points since he’s taken on such a reduced role since Stephon Castle and Victor Wembanyama have returned from their injuries.

Fox scored over 20 points in 12 of 14 games coming into the NBA Cup Championship when Wembanyama returned. He only had 16 points in 32 minutes in that game, picking up nine assists in the Spurs narrow defeat. The Spurs won their two games since then easily, beating the Wizards by 25 and the Hawks by 28. Fox played 25 minutes and had six points against the Wizards on Thursday and then had eight points in 22 minutes against the Hawks.

While Fox can definitely go off and get 20 points, he is working to get his younger teammates back in the flow and is getting extra recovery time after the games have gotten lopsided. The same pattern could continue on Sunday night, with the Spurs so heavily favored, so I think he’ll stay under this point total again on Sunday.

Bonus Parlay Pick: Harrison Barnes under 1.5 3PM (+147)

If you’re looking for a fourth leg to spice up your Same Game Parlay (SGP) or your SGPx, check out this spicy prop from Harrison Barnes. It’s a little bit of a flier at +147, but if can boost your parlay all the way to +1400.

Like Fox, Barnes has played fewer minutes in the last few games for the Spurs, and he has been under this prop line in four straight games, going 1-for-18 from long range over that span. He played under 23 minutes in each of those three games, and could come in under this prop line if he keeps playing such a limited role. He only had two points in 18 minutes in the first meeting between these teams this season.
