For the 33rd time, the Arizona Wildcats and San Diego State Aztecs will face off. Arizona is the No. 1 team in the country and has started the season 10-0. SDSU has a 6-3 record in its first nine games and has won three consecutive games since its last loss to Baylor on November 26. Arizona has won the previous five matchups against SDSU, with the Aztecs’ last victory against the Wildcats coming in 2011. This is the first Arizona vs. SDSU game since November 2022.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Arizona is a -14.5-point favorite. Here is my best bet for tonight’s Arizona vs. San Diego State matchup.

Arizona has a deep roster with five double-digit scorers this season. Koa Peat is the leading scorer with 14.3 points, but Jaden Bradley averages 13.9, and Brayden Burries averages 13.8. Peat caught the early headlines as he had a dominant start, but he only recorded 10 and six points in his last two contests. Peat’s fellow freshman, Burries, has been excellent lately, having three 20-point performances in his previous five games.
KenPom has the Wildcats No. 4 and the Aztecs 47th. Arizona has the sixth-best offensive rating and ninth-best defensive rating. SDSU’s offensive rating is 56th, with its defense being 52nd.
SDSU averages 81.8 points per contest and only has two players in double digits per game. Junior guard BJ Davis is their leading scorer with 13.3 points per game. San Diego State is a good three-point shooting team, making 41.1 percent of their attempts per night.
This season, Arizona isn’t just beating teams but doing so in spectacular fashion. The Wildcats have won five straight games by at least 21 points. This season, seven of their 10 victories have come by 21-plus points as well. SDSU has struggled to keep up with high-scoring teams this season, scoring 90 or more points only twice. Since Arizona has been the No. 1 team in the country, they have continued to elevate its play, and its winning streak doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon.
