Sunday presents an eight-game NBA slate and below are three of my favorite NBA player prop picks on DraftKings Sportsbook for Sunday’s slate.

Brandon Miller U 21.5 Points (-114)
While Miller is going to see a high-usage rate with both LaMelo Ball (ankle) and Collin Sexton (quad) out Sunday vs. the Cavaliers, 21.5 points is simply too high of a number for Miller right now. Both Ball and Sexton have missed two straight games and with these guards sidelined, Miller has garnered a 35.3% usage rate, but he has scored just 17 and 18 points while shooting a terrible 32% from the field and 33% on three-pointers.
This season, the wing is shooting a career-worst 37% from the field and Miller is only averaging 19.7 points per 36 minutes with both Ball and Sexton off the floor. Cleveland ranks 10th in defensive rating this season and Miller falling short of 21.5 points in this tough matchup is likely.
Jalen Johnson O 8.5 Assists (-112)
Johnson is in a subpar spot vs. a 76ers defense that ranks ninth in rating this season, but with the Hawks continuing to be without both Trae Young (knee) and Kristaps Porzingis (illness), Johnson should be able to clear 8.5 assists. The budding star is a threat for a triple-double every night and in the nine games he has played with both Young and Porzingis inactive this season, Johnson is leading the Hawks with 10.1 assists per game.
The forward has exceeded 8.5 assists in six of these nine games and with both Young and Porzingis off the floor, Johnson’s assist rate rises 4.5 percentage points to a huge 38%.
Derik Queen U 14.5 Points (-109)
The Pelicans just got Jordan Poole back and now, Zion Williamson (questionable, adductor) is trending toward making his return tonight vs. the Bulls after practicing Saturday. If Williamson suits up as expected, Queen should have a quiet outing as a scorer.
The rookie and Williamson have started in five games together and Queen is averaging 14 PPG in those contests. The big man has stayed under 14.5 points in three of these five games, including a two-point showing vs. the Warriors. This is a plus matchup for Queen, with Chicago ranking 23rd in defensive rating, but 14.5 points is just too high of a line for him with Williamson likely to be active.
