There’s a monster 12 game NBA slate tonight packed into a two and a half hour window. We’ll get the NBA’s El Clasico between the Lakers and the Celtics, tipping off at 7 PM EST. We’ll finish the night with a showdown between the Mavs and the Thunder, with plenty of action packed in between.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my six favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Austin Reaves More than 31.5 Points
Reaves has been one of the biggest surprises of the season thus far, stepping up in a way not many imagined. He’s on All-NBA pace with a stellar 28.9 PPG, 5.7 RPG, and 6.8 APG, which are all career-highs. He’s been lights out from the floor as well with 52.6 FG%. Reaves has also been incredibly strong at finishing around the rim, as indicated by his 65.9 2P%, which could definitely taper off as the season goes on.
Regardless, he’s coming off a monster 44 point, 10 assist double double against the Raptors and his back court teammate Luka Doncic is in danger of missing a second consecutive game, opening the doors for another huge performance tonight on the second half of a back to back.

Kawhi Leonard More Than 25.5 Points
The Fun Guy is having a resurgent season so far, with 25.9 PPG being his highest since 2019-2020, the year after he won the NBA Finals with the Toronto Raptors. Leonard has even appeared in both halves of a back to back set this season.
He’ll get a decent matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies, and looks locked in on both ends of the floor so far. His 2.1 SPG is his highest since 2014-15, the year he won DPOY. He’s eclipsed this 25.5 mark in three out of his last five games, with those three all being 30-bombs.

Josh Giddey More Than 44.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
In seven home games this season, Josh Giddey is averaging 22.1 PPG, 10.6 RPG, and 9.9 APG, which is just shy of this 44.5 mark tonight. The caveat is that the visiting team is the 4-18 Indiana Pacers, who are in the bottom third of the league’s defenses. They’re also fourth to last in opponent rebounds conceded per game.
Given how good this matchup is, I’m picking Giddey to get more than this 44.5 PRA mark tonight. Giddey’s last game was a valiant 28 point, 11 rebound, 11 assist effort against the Brooklyn Nets.
