The Hero World Challenge will be played at Albany Golf Course (par 72, 7,449 yards, Bermuda greens) in New Providence, Bahamas. This course has hosted the Hero World Challenge since 2016 and Scottie Scheffler will be seeking his third straight win at this event this week. There will only be 20 golfers competing this week and there will be no cut.
Below, I dive into two of my favorite DFS options on DraftKings for the Hero World Challenge.

Sepp Straka ($7,700)
Building around Scottie Scheffler is a must this week and finding the right value plays to roster with Scheffler will be the key to winning in DFS. At only $7,700, Straka is one of the top values on the board. The Austrian just completed his best season on the PGA TOUR, with two wins and 12 top-25 finishes in 22 starts.
Straka’s ball-striking has been terrific, with him ranking seventh on the PGA TOUR in SG APP and after starting this season as the No. 36 ranked player in the world, he now sits at No. 15. Straka hasn’t competed since August, so he has had ample time to prepare for the Hero World Challenge and this is an event he has thrived at in the past.
Straka has never finished worse than T-10 in his three starts at Albany, including a runner-up finish to Scheffler two years ago. That week, Straka closed the Hero World Challenge with an 8-under 64, which was the second-lowest score of the event. Straka has shot under par in nine of his 12 rounds at Albany and he has the potential for a top-five finish this weekend.
Brian Harman ($6,400)
Harman has a ton of merit at this cheap price tag. The veteran has finished T-8 and T-12 at Albany the last two years, and while Harman is coming off a missed cut at the RSM Classic last month, he had made seven straight cuts before this, with five top-25 finishes during this stretch.
Overall for the season, Harman made 20-of-24 cuts and he carded 10 top-25 finishes, including a win at the Valero Texas Open in April. When we compare this field’s last 24 rounds, Harman is eighth in SG APP and 12th in par five efficiency, both of which bode very well for Albany, as this unique par 72 is home to small putting surfaces and five par fives.
Harman finishing inside the top half of this field is possible this week and he could get overlooked in GPPs, given he is coming off a missed cut and that he is a player that rarely ever gains much attention for DFS.
