Whether your pick lost in Week 13 or you just didn’t get the chance to join a survivor pool, you can join this one. In this survivor pool, you need to pick a team to win straight-up every week. However, once you use a team, you cannot use it again. You are eliminated from the pool if one of your picks loses. The players who survive the regular season without losing will split the grand prize of at least $10,000.

Buccaneers over Saints
The Buccaneers had lost three straight games prior to last week’s much-needed win over the Cardinals. Tampa Bay had faced a brutally tough schedule while also dealing with numerous injuries. It had lost four out of five games, but those losses came to the Lions, Patriots, Bills and Rams. Last week, it finally got healthier and had a comfortable home opponent. With Chris Godwin and Bucky Irving back on the field, Tampa Bay was able to take care of business against the Cardinals. The offense should only continue to improve as Godwin and Irving get back up to game speed.
During that tough run of form, the one win for the Buccaneers came against the Saints. In the midst of that brutal stretch with a banged-up roster, they were still able to dominate New Orleans 23-3. That blowout came on the road in New Orleans, meaning this time around the teams will face off in Tampa. After a home win last week, the Buccaneers should be settled in and ready to get a winning streak going. The Buccaneers are under immense pressure from the Panthers in the NFC South race, so they need to keep winning, especially against divisional opponents. Tampa Bay has won six of its past seven against New Orleans and should keep that dominant run rolling this week.
Week 14 Survivor Bold Pick
Packers over Bears
The Packers are facing the red-hot Bears with massive NFC North implications. The Packers are level with the Bears in the loss column, just behind them overall because they have one tie on the season. A win here would propel the Packers ahead of the Bears into first place. Chicago is coming off a massive win over the Eagles, but the Packers similarly picked up a huge win over the Lions on Thanksgiving.
The Bears have won five straight games, but they have not had to face a high-level passing attack during that stretch. Those wins came over the Eagles, Steelers, Vikings, Giants and Bengals. None of those offenses rank inside the top-10 in the NFL in EPA/dropback. Meanwhile, the Packers lead the NFL in offensive EPA/dropback. Jordan Love should tear up the Chicago defense, which ranks 23rd in dropback success rate. These will be tough conditions for Caleb Williams on the road against Micah Parsons and this great Packers defense as well. The Packers should get the win and break the Bears’ winning streak.
Week 14 Survivor Favorite to Avoid
Bills over Bengals
The Bills are one of the bigger favorites of the week at home against the Bengals. However, this is a spot that I’m looking to avoid. The Bills’ offense has been incredibly inconsistent this season. The score from their game in Pittsburgh looks good, but the Bills were trailing 7-3 at halftime before getting a defensive score, then getting an interception to set up another easy score to take over the game. In five of their past eight games, the Bills’ offense has scored 20 points or fewer, including in losses to the Falcons and Dolphins. The Bengals were clearly sparked by the return of Joe Burrow, dominating the Ravens 32-14 last week in Baltimore. The Bengals could be a dangerous team down the stretch with Burrow back, and the Bills are hard to trust on a weekly basis.
