The 49ers are hosting the Panthers on Monday night. On DraftKings Sportsbook, San Francisco is favored by 7.5 points and this game carries a total of 49.5 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite Brock Purdy prop to consider from this contest.

Best Brock Purdy Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Brock Purdy U 9.5 Rushing Yards (-112)

In his return from a six-game absence due to a toe injury last Sunday vs. the Cardinals, Purdy only rushed the ball once and he lost seven yards on that carry. The quarterback is only rushing the ball on 4% of his snaps this season and Monday’s matchup vs. the Panthers isn’t a spot for Purdy to be active with his legs.

This season, Carolina is giving up the second-fewest rushing yards to quarterbacks (117), which is a result of the Panthers pressuring quarterbacks at the third-lowest rate in the league (28%). Opposing quarterbacks are scrambling at the seventh-lowest rate when facing Carolina (4.6%) and with ample time in the pocket tonight, Purdy should see minimal work as a rusher.

Instead, the 25-year-old should throw the ball with ease against this Panthers secondary that is allowing the fifth-most yards per pass over the last three weeks (7.9). The 9.5-yards rushing line is just too high for Purdy in this spot and he is a great bet to fall short of this number.
