The 2025 PGA TOUR season concludes this week with the RSM Classic. Since 2010, this event has been played at the Seaside Course (par 70, 7,005, Bermuda greens) and the Plantation Course (par 72, 7,060 yards, Bermuda greens) of the Sea Island Resort in St. Simons Island, Georgia. This is a field of 156 players and each player will play one round on both the Seaside and the Plantation Course. Then, there will be a top-65 and ties cut and the final two rounds of the RSM Classic will be played at the Seaside Course.
With three of the four rounds of this tournament played at the Seaside Course, this venue is the host course of the RSM Classic and this is the track we should be focusing on for research this week. At last year’s RSM Classic, Maverick McNealy (-16) won by one shot. Given this is the final event of the season, the top-100 players in the FedEx Cup Fall standings following the RSM Classic will earn their full-time status for 2026 PGA TOUR season beginning in January.
The Seaside Course is a short seaside venue that features wide fairways, big greens, 47 bunkers and water in play on 13 holes. Just like Port Royal Golf Club last week for the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, the Seaside Course is susceptible to strong wind gusts, which can make this venue challenging. Given the wind factor and that the Seaside Course is a short par 70 with wide fairways, this is a less-than-driver venue where OTT stats aren’t overly relevant for research. Being in strong form with your irons and especially your putter is most crucial at the Seaside Course, as each of the last five winners of the RSM Classic have finished the event top-15 in SGP. Also, targeting efficient par four players who score well on 400-450-yard par fours is smart. Nine of the 12 par fours at the Seaside Course fall between 400-450 yards and two of the last three victors of the RSM Classic have led their fields in efficiency on the 400-450-yard par fours of this par 70.

Top DraftKings PGA TOUR DFS Bargain Plays for the RSM Classic
Doug Ghim ($7,400) – Ghim has made 4-of-5 cuts at the RSM Classic – including a T-18 in 2020 – and he is fresh off a 13th-place finish at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship last week. Ghim caught fire in the second round of this event, shooting an 8-under 63 at Port Royal Golf Club, which was the lowest score of the tournament.
This finish marked Ghim’s eighth made cut and his sixth finish of T-31 or better in his last 10 starts. Ghim ranks top-20 in both SGT2G and SG APP this season, and he is a steal at this $7,400 salary, which is a $300 drop from last week.
Andrew Novak ($7,300) – Novak hasn’t competed since the TOUR Championship in August, but he is a difficult fade at this cheap price tag. Novak has made 18-of-26 cuts with 11 top-25 finishes this season. The 30-year-old won the team-based Zurich Classic in April with Ben Griffin as his partner, which is just one of Novak’s five top-five finishes in 2025.
Novak has been solid at the RSM Classic in the past, making 3-of-5 cuts with top-35 finishes, but he now heads to the Sea Island Resort as the No. 33-ranked player in the world, which is the highest he has ranked for an RSM Classic by 83 spots. Despite being the No. 33-ranked player in the world, Novak is only the 42nd-most expensive player on DraftKings this week.
Patrick Fishburn ($7,100) – Fishburn made some serious noise in his RSM Classic debut last season, finishing T-8 and coming off a T-34 finish at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship last week, the 33-year-old has advanced to the weekend in 10 of his last 13 starts. Fishburn is an excellent par four scorer, ranking 30th in par four performance this season and when we analyze this field’s last 50 rounds, he impressively ranks first in 400-450-yard par four efficiency, setting him up perfectly for the Seaside Course.
As noted above, nine of the 12 par fours at the Seaside Course range from 400-450 yards and Fishburn is far too cheap for his upside.
Greyson Sigg ($7,000) – Sigg has finished inside the top-15 in two of his last three starts at the RSM Classic and during both of these finishes, he carded a 6-under 64 at the Seaside Course. Sigg now returns to the Sea Island resort playing exceptional golf, missing only one cut in his last seven starts and with three top-25 finishes during this run.
Sigg ranks fourth in SG APP when we compare this field’s last 24 rounds and he is an elite bargain play at only $7,000.
