For the second time this year, Chris Eubank Jr. will face Conor Benn at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, United Kingdom, on Saturday, November 15. Eubank Jr. defeated Benn via unanimous decision in their first fight on April 26.
Championship fights are the most important bouts in combat sports. But it isn’t often that you find a rivalry as good as Eubank vs. Benn. This feud has lasted 35 years, dating back to the 1990s, when it began between their fathers, Nigel and Chris Eubank Sr.
In 1990, Chris Eubank beat Nigel Bemm via ninth-round TKO in their first matchup. Three years later, in the rematch, it ended in a split decision draw. With the Eubanks beating the Benns twice, it puts even more pressure on Conor Benn to get his family’s first victory over an Eubank. Conor Benn suffered his first loss against Eubank Jr., as he had won his first 23 fights of his career. Benn moved up to the Middleweight Division to fight Eubank, a weight class in which he had no previous experience.
Although Eubank beat Benn in April, he is still hungry to beat Benn once again. Eubank is a former IBO Middleweight Champion and will likely have another chance at gold in the future if he can get past Benn. He has won three consecutive fights, with his last loss coming against Liam Smith in January 2023.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Eubank Jr. is a -160 favorite with Benn being a +125 underdog. The over/under is set at 10.5 rounds for this contest, with the over being -150. Benn is +280 to win by KO/TKO/DQ, while Eubank is +200 to win by finish.
Former title challenger Jack Catterall is facing Ekow Essuman in the co-main event of this card. Catterall is coming off a victory against Harlem Eubank in July. In his last seven fights, Catterall holds a 6-1 record. This is Catterall’s second fight at Welterweight. His opponent, Essuman, is 22-1 and is on a three-fight win streak. Catterall is a -225 favorite with Essuman being a +175 underdog.
