Another Crown for Nikola
It’s no surprise to see this name on top. With another superb effort against the Sacramento Kings, Nikola Jokic tied for the lead at the end of the third quarter and quickly solidified his crown midway through the fourth.
The projected leader has taken the crown, to the surprise of nobody. Nobody in this game is within spitting distance of challenging him. It’s a fitting end to another exciting night of King of the Court! Here’s a look at the final top five on the leaderboard:

The Joker Approaches
The inevitable Nikola Jokic is upon us. Up to 37 P/R/A, he’s closing in on Jalen Brunson for the top spot. At the rate he produces, he might overtake him by the end of the third quarter.
With Domantas Sabonis fading into the background, it’s all down to Jokic.
Halfway to Beaming
It’s almost halftime in Sactown, and we’ve got some real challenges coming for the top. Nikola Jokic, the odds-on favorite to win the crown, is up to 28 P/R/A. Domantas Sabonis trails with 17 P/R/A.
There’s a lot of basketball left to play, and much can change. Don’t change the channel until we have a winner announced.
Balkan Battle in Sacramento
Another victim of a blowout, it seems like Lauri Markkanen’s night is over. But two other Euros are off to hot starts in our final game of the night.
Both Nikola Jokic and Domantas Sabonis have cleared 10 P/R/A in the first six minutes of the game. They’re serious threats to take the crown, and this game bears watching if you hold a Brunson ticket or took one of these two. We’re in for a wild finish.
Late Night Lauri?
He’s got a ways to go in the P/R/A department, but Lauri Markkanen is making a real charge against the Pacers. The Utah star has 31 points with two rebounds and two assists, and the third quarter isn’t even over. It pays to play a bad defense, but the former MIP looks like his old self once again.
He’s got a full quarter and change to make a run for the crown. Can the Finn have a big finish?
One More Down
We got fantastic late pushes from Tyrese Maxey and Jaylen Brown in our first Peacock game of tonight’s doubleheader, and it looked like overtime was in the cards. An extra five minutes could have threatened Jalen Brunson’s mark. However, Kelly Oubre Jr. was determined to hit the showers.
That leaves us with only one game currently going. Nobody in this Jazz-Pacers contest looks like a threat to the P/R/A crown. It leaves us with one more contender: the Nuggets and Kings matchup with Nikola Jokic. Projected to hit nearly 50 P/R/A, it’s appropriate that the Joker has the last say in tonight’s King of the Court contest.
Critical Jalen Push
Well, that last push from Jalen Brunson may have changed the night. He snuck in a few more P/R/A to end up with 47, and it made all the difference.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander torched the Warriors tonight, putting up 28 points and 11 assists in three quarters. But with the game a complete blowout, he may be stuck at 44 for the remainder of the game as Mark Daigneault unloads his bench. With the Thunder players off the board, tonight’s slate has narrowed considerably. Let’s see if Brunson can hold the line and finish as the King of the Court.
Can Jalen Storm To The Finish Line?
Jalen Brunson has begun to pull away in tonight’s contest. With 28 points, four rebounds and 10 assists, he’s putting distance between himself and teammate Karl-Anthony Towns, leading by six total P/R/A.
There’s still plenty of game left, and more yet to start tonight. But it’s a strong performance from New York’s All-Star guard. Let’s see how he closes things out. He already has reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on his heels.
Great Time for Knicks Picks
The Knickerbockers have climbed to the top spot. Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns have now split the lead with 32 P/R/A, passing Nic Claxton as the third quarters wind down in these two New York games. So far, nobody has truly set themselves apart in the 8:00 p.m. ET slate, so we look to these two to set the pace.
Keep an eye on New York. It’ll be a race to the finish to see who our first full time leader is.
Battle of New York
It’s a battle for the top between the New York teams. Nic Claxton retains the lead at halftime of the early slate with 25 P/R/A. But Jalen Brunson isn’t far behind with 21 P/R/A, and KAT still has 19.
All three would be interesting candidates to take home tonight’s contest. Let’s see how they start their respective second halves as we roll into the second slate of the night.
Purr-Fect Start
The Knicks are rocking early in MSG, and Karl-Anthony Towns is at the center of things. The Big Purr is up to 10 points, seven rebounds and two assists with a few minutes left to go until halftime.
Nic Claxton, the other New York center, remains on top of the leaderboard. But KAT can get hot in a hurry, and his fast start bears watching.
We’ve Got Clax-tion
The early window has kicked off and the early leader is… Nic Claxton?
Brooklyn’s center is cooking early against the Raptors, putting up 10 points, three rebounds, and an assist in the first quarter. His 14 P/R/A leads our field in the early going, and would net a healthy $12,600 bonus bet for the Claxton bettors.
Who knows, maybe we’ll get crazy tonight?
