NFL Best Bets: Jaguars vs. Texans Best Prop Bets for Week 10

Two AFC South teams will face off the second time this season, this round in Houston. The Jaguars won the first matchup 17-10 in Week 3.

Jacksonville is a 1.5-point favorite and -115 on the moneyline, while Houston is -105 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 37.5 points.

Here are my favorite player props for this Week 10 NFL game between the Jaguars and Texans.

Jaguars vs. Texans Best Prop Bets

Parker Washington over 47.5 receiving yards (-111)

The Jaguars’ wide receiver room is depleted. Brian Thomas Jr. and Travis Hunter are sidelined for at least this week, leaving Parker Washington and Dyami Brown leading the group.

It’s not the most inspiring duo, especially against the No. 1 ranked defense in terms of points and yards allowed. Both the pass and run defenses are similarly strong.

Still, the Texans aren’t going to completely nullify the Jaguars’ offense. There will be some action, and much of it will be to Washington. The third-year pro grabbed 8-of-9 targets for 90 yards last week and caught 4-of-10 for 52 yards the game prior.

The volume is there, so if he can break loose for a couple catches, he should be able to hit the over on this prop.

Dalton Schultz over 34.5 receiving yards (-115)

While the defense has been incredible, Houston’s offense is a bit lackluster. Luckily, the Texans will face off against the Jaguars, who have a terrible pass defense. Jacksonville allows the fourth most passing touchdowns and sixth most passing yards.

This is music to C.J. Stroud’s ears. There are a handful of options in the passing game, but Dalton Schultz is my pick to have a big game. The veteran tight end is second in receiving yards and first in receptions on the team, albeit he’s played one more game than Nico Collins.

Schultz is averaging 48.1 receiving yards per game, which is nearly 14 yards greater than the prop line is set at. He should have an easy time surpassing this considering the Jaguars allow the fourth most receiving yards to tight ends this season.
