In the final matchup of the eight games on the scoreboard this Saturday, the Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns meet in a rematch of their Thursday night clash in the desert. ESPN covers the matchup, which should be an enjoyable and exciting way to end a full night of NBA action.
The Suns won the game between these teams on Thursday, 115-102. Jalen Green made his season debut for the Suns in the victory, while James Harden missed the game due to a personal matter. The rematch on Saturday is in Inglewood at the Intuit Dome, and Harden will be back to try and help his team earn a split of their home-and-home set with the Suns. After their win on Thursday, the Suns are 4-5 while the Clippers are 3-5.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Los Angeles is favored by 5.5 points, with the game total set at 227.5 points. In addition to the main game line, DraftKings Sportsbook has numerous player prop bets for Saturday night’s matchup. In this post, I’ll take a look at a few of my favorites.
Before we dive in, let’s take a quick look at the injury report. The Suns listed Dillon Brooks (core) as questionable, and the Clippers listed Kawhi Leonard (ankle) as out. Everyone else should be good to go for this rematch, including Harden, who will be back after his one-game absence.

John Collins under 6.5 rebounds (-150)
Even with Kawhi out and more minutes available, Collins hasn’t been extremely productive, especially on the glass. He has been playing 20-to-25 minutes per game and has averaged 5.0 rebounds per game in his eight contests this season. He has been under this many rebounds in six of those eight contests (75%).
Collins has under 6.5 rebounds in each of his last four games, including all the games without Kawhi. He only had four rebounds in 23 minutes against the Suns on Thursday, and even if he’s two rebounds better than that in the rematch, he would still come in under this prop line.
Collins has the potential to go off with a big game, but he has been mostly held in check this season while managing his minutes and finding his role on his new squad, where Derrick Jones Jr. is getting most of the power forward work in Kawhi’s absence.
Jalen Green 20+ points (+142)
Green was on fire in his Suns’ debut, pouring in 29 points in just 23 minutes against the Clippers on Thursday. The Clippers have given up more fantasy points to shooting guards than any other team in the NBA, and Green will look to take advantage of that matchup again on Saturday.
He made 10-of-20 shots from the field and 6-of-13 three-point attempts, which are unsustainable numbers, but he definitely looked sharp and ready to contribute as one of the key contributors in the Suns’ offense.
I highlighted his three-point props in my best three-point player props for Saturday, and in this post, I’m taking plus-money that he’ll be able to get to at least 20 points in his second straight game.
Last year, Green averaged 21.0 points per game in 82 games with the Rockets and had over 20 points in two of his four games against the Clippers.
He will likely still be working on a minutes limit, but he brings enough of a chance to score 20+ points that I like him to continue his scorching start with the Suns.
Bradley Beal under 10.5 points (-105)
The Clippers have been keeping Beal at right about 20 minutes per game, and so far the veteran hasn’t been able to get much scoring going in that role. Even with Kawhi Leonard out for three straight games and James Harden missing the last game as well, Beal has only been able to get over this point total once in his five games this season.
On Thursday in this same matchup but without Harden, Beal played 20 minutes and had five points to go with one assist and one rebound in his return to Phoenix. He took 14 field-goal attempts in that game and only connected on two (14.3%).
With Harden back, he’ll get much fewer shots in this rematch, and I think he’ll come in with 10 points or fewer once again.
