Vergil Ortiz Jr. is facing Erickson Lubin in the Main Event of tonight’s boxing event in Fort Worth, Texas. An intriguing fight on this card is a Cruiserweight bout between Robin Safar vs. Derick Miller Jr. Both boxers enter this contest with an 18-0 record.

Here is my best bet for Robin Safar vs. Derick Miller Jr.

Robin Safar by KO/TKO/DQ (+125)

Although both fighters are 18-0, it isn’t the same. That is because Miller’s last fight against Vernon Webber was a no-contest, while Safar beat Roberto Silva by fifth-round TKO. Safar has won 10 of his previous 12 fights by knockout, as Miller has five finishes in that same period.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Safar is a big -700 favorite as Miller is a +425 underdog. The over/under for this fight is set at 8.5 rounds, with the over being -170. Safar is ranked as the No. 12 contender in the cruiserweight division on BoxRec.

Safar is two inches taller (6’3″ vs. 6’1″) than Miller and should be able to use that to his advantage. If Safar dictates the pace of this contest, he has the potential to not only win but do so by knockout. Getting Safar to win by KO/TKO/DQ at +125 is the best value play for this contest.
