The NHL returns with a four-game slate on Friday night, starting at 7:00 p.m. ET. The Wild played last night and are the only team operating on zero days’ rest.
Here are my favorite three NHL player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Friday, November 7.
Best NHL props for Friday 11/7/25
Alex DeBrincat 4+ Shots on Goal (+130)
DeBrincat has totaled 55 shots so far this season, good for seventh-most in the NHL. The 27-year-old has cleared 4+ SOG in 8-of-14 games and in 3-of-6 home games, making it difficult to fade this line at plus odds. The Rangers have been one of the best defensive teams so far, however, allowing the fewest goals per game and the 10th-fewest shots per game. I’m not sure that it will slow DeBrincat down much, given that he’s totaled 5+ SOG in five games already and ranks second in the NHL in both shots per 60 and shot attempts per 60. Detroit just finished a five-game road trip and is beginning a four-game homestand. DeBrincat has averaged more shot attempts at home this season.
Matthew Schaefer 1+ Point (-110)
This is already Schaefer’s team, as he leads the team in ice time and ranks second in points. Among all defensemen, the 18-year-old also ranks ninth in points per 60 and third in goals above expected. Tonight, he faces a Wild team that played last night and will likely be sending out Jesper Wallstedt as the starter. Wallstedt ranks 53rd in goals saved above expected and 61st in SV% above expected, and allowed six goals on 25 shots in his last start. Schaefer has recorded a point in 9-of-13 games this season, including in 6-of-7 home games.
Kyle Connor 4+ Shots on Goal (+110)
Connor has cleared this line in 7-of-13 games this season. While he hasn’t been as effective on the road, the Sharks are a perfect matchup for him to break that trend, having allowed the second-most shots per game and most shots per game to opposing wingers. Plus, Connor has a good history against San Jose, clearing 4+ SOG in six of the past seven meetings on top of scoring three goals in the past three meetings. The 28-year-old has scored five goals in the past six games and should see plenty of clean looks against a Sharks squad that has allowed the seventh-most high-danger chances.
