William Nylander Anytime Goalscorer (+160)
Nylander has netted three goals in his past three games, including a two-goal game against the Penguins on Monday. He has found plenty of success against the Mammoth in the past, netting at least one goal in five of the past six meetings. Vitek Vanecek is the expected starter for Utah tonight after Karel Vejmelka started last night’s game in Buffalo, which is good news for Nylander. In six career meetings against Vanecek, Nylander has totaled four goals and two assists. His teammate, Auston Matthews (+120) is a good play, too, given how often he’s getting the puck on net recently.
Alex Ovechkin Anytime Goalscorer (+150)
There’s a reason that Ovechkin’s anytime goalscorer prop is the most bet player prop on DraftKings Sportsbook for tonight’s slate. It’s because he is one goal away from 900 and faces the Blues, who have been abysmal between the pipes. It is apparent that Ovi just turned 40 years old two months ago; however, because he has clearly lost a step, scoring just two goals across his first 12 games of the new season. Luckily, St. Louis has allowed a league-leading 4.00 goals per game and is starting Jordan Binnington, who is 3-4-2 with a 3.08 GAA and .868 SV%. He ranks 65th out of 71 eligible goaltenders in goals saved above expected, and Ovi has netted three goals in four career meetings against him.
