College Football Week 10 Prediction, Pick: Best Bets Cheat Sheet

Below you can find all my picks for College Football Week 10 with a quick handicap on the game. The article will be updated throughout the week as bets are added. Our team at DK Network will have breakdowns on nearly every game on the board, so stayed locked in at the website for betting analysis on any college football game you may be interested in.

Iowa State/Georgia ML Parlay (-125) 1.5-units: Iowa State was my largest bet last week, and left me on the wrong side of yet another BYU comeback victory. It was a frustrating one, but I’m back to give the Cyclones another shot as a moneyline parlay piece given the situation. ISU has now lost three straight games — two on the road, followed by a bye, and then the BYU collapse at home. This team desperately needs a win, and is home again, catching Arizona State at the perfect time. Sam Leavitt has been in and out of the lineup at quarterback for the Sun Devils, and will miss this game. The last game he missed was a 42-10 loss to Utah, and last week in the game he was unable to finish, the Sun Devils lost to Houston. ASU should also be without its top wide receiver in Jordyn Tyson, leaving Iowa State in a very strong spot to collect a home victory.

As for Georgia, this is a trickier spot, but I’m going to trust the Bulldogs. Both UGA and Florida are off a bye, and the Gators come with the unknown of how they’ll look in their first game since firing Billy Napier. While that’s generally worth a boost, I still trust Kirby Smart with an extra week for prep for the Gators. Florida has a solid defense, but Georgia’s offense should be the best unit on the field, and find a way to pull this one out in Jacksonville.

Texas ML (-145) 1-unit: To be honest I was hoping Arch Manning would miss this game and get an even better price on an undermanned Texas team. We’ll see where the number goes, as Arch’s status remains up in the air. Regardless, I’ll back Texas at any fair price on the moneyline in this one. While I’d like the play even more if Texas had lost at Mississippi State last week, you could make the argument that miraculous win sets up an even better spot for the Longhorns here. By winning that game, their College Football Playoff hopes are still alive, giving them some energy coming into their first home game since September 20. I’ve been a Vandy backer the last two weeks, and while the home wins over LSU and Missouri are nice, this Texas defense is next level. I think we see Diego Pavia struggle significantly more in this one, and Texas find a way to pullout the win. This is about as buy-low of a spot as you’re going to get, especially if Manning winds up ruled out.

Notre Dame Team Total OVER 41.5 (-120) 1-unit: Simply put, the Boston College defense has been an open gate to the end zone. The most impressive defensive performance the Eagles have had this season is probably holding Cal to 28 points in Chestnut Hill. Other than that, Michigan State dropped 42 on them in overtime, the lowly Stanford Cardinal scored 30, Pitt went for 48, Clemson went for 41, and the Eagles have now given up 38 points in consecutive weeks to UConn and Louisville. The Irish are averaging just over 39 points per game, but getting a few points over their average against this defense should be no problem. Notre Dame can name it’s point total here, so it should just come down to keeping its foot on the gas. But the Irish absolutely need to win out to reach the CFP, and some big numbers on the scoreboard can only help.

Washington State -3.5 (-110) 1-unit: Wazzu has been a terrific bet since it turned the corner against Colorado State in late September. After winning that game, the Cougars have been extremely competitive against highly ranked competition — a three-point loss at Ole Miss, followed by a two-point loss at UVA. They were underdogs in those games by a combined 50 points. Washington State then returned home in what could’ve been a trap spot in what was priced around a pick’em versus Toledo. Wazzu won by three touchdowns. I’m buying into what the Cougars have going on right now, and Oregon State has been an absolute mess. Yes, this is a rivalry game and the Beavers have done well as a home dog over the years, but this year is different. Oregon State just got its first win of the season last week against … the Lafayette Leopards. Prior to that, the Beavers were 0-7 with their average loss by nearly 18 points per game. Only one of those losses was by a field goal or less. Wazzu has taken nine of the last 11 in this rivalry, and I’ll bet on that trend continuing on Saturday night with some margin.
