Kawhi Leonard O 33.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-111)
After an embarrassing season opener, Leonard has looked like himself in his last two starts, posting 27 points, five rebounds and five assists vs. the Suns. He also posted 30 points, 10 rebounds and four assists vs. the Trail Blazers. Both of these lines resulted in wins for the Clippers.
Leading Los Angeles in usage rate (27.8%) and minutes per game this season (32.3), Leonard is fully healthy and 33.5 PRA is a depressed line for the two-time Finals MVP facing a Warriors team that ranks 21st in defensive rating this season and is playing its second game in two nights. In his lone matchup with Golden State last season, Leonard finished with 33 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Plus, this game presents a tight 2.5-point spread in favor of the Clippers and in the last five games that he has competed in that have come with a spread under five points, Leonard is averaging 36.8 PRA per game.
Ivica Zubac O 15.5 Points (-109)
Zubac has scored at least 19 points in two of his three starts this season and he was excellent against the Warriors last season, averaging 17.5 PPG in four matchups, including 17 points or more in three of these four tilts. Golden State is an undersized team and swapping Kevon Looney for Al Horford this offseason only made the Warriors smaller. This season, Golden State is surrendering the third-most points in the paint per game (58), making this an elite spot for Zubac.
As a true center who doesn’t have an outside shot, Zubac exclusively scores in the painted area and over 15.5 points is absolutely within reach for the big man tonight.
Al Horford U 4.5 Rebounds (-122)
In his first two games for the Warriors, Horford has only grabbed five and three rebounds. Coming off the bench for Golden State, the veteran is only logging 24.5 minutes per game and he is averaging just 7.0 rebound chances per game with the reserve role.
With the Clippers continuing to be a slow team this season, ranking fifth-to-last in pace, they are yielding the eighth-fewest rebounds per game in the league (28.3) and backing Horford for under 4.5 rebounds in this tough matchup is a smart move.
