The Commanders are visiting the Chiefs on Monday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Kansas City is favored by 10.5 points and this game carries a total of 47.5 points.

Deebo Samuel U 18.5 Yards Longest Reception (-115)

Samuel (heel) and Terry McLaurin (quad) will return Monday vs. the Chiefs, but Jayden Daniels (hamstring) is out, leaving Marcus Mariota as the Commanders’ starting quarterback. Samuel, McLaurin and Mariota have started one game together this season, back in Week 3 vs. the Raiders, and in that contest, Samuel only caught two of his three targets for 11 yards and his longest reception was just nine yards.

McLaurin led Washington with a 22.2% target share that day, whereas Samuel only handled a 16.7% target share and the veteran’s aDOT was a very low 2.0. Playing alongside deep threats like McLaurin and Luke McCaffrey, Samuel is primarily utilized on shorter passes with the Commanders and as a result, he is averaging a career-low 9.6 YPR this season. Plus, 65% of his routes have come from the slot this season, which is bad news for this tough, road matchup vs. Kansas City.

This season, the Chiefs are giving up the third-fewest catches (35), the third-fewest receiving yards (352) and the third-fewest catches of 15+ yards to players who line up in the slot (6). Overall, Kansas City has yielded the second-fewest receptions of 15+ yards this season (28) and Samuel finishing with no catches of over 18.5 yards in this ugly spot is likely Monday.
