The Chiefs are in prime form, winning four of their last five games but are still in third place in the AFC West.
They’ll host the Commanders, who are still without starting quarterback Jayden Daniels. Washington has lost two straight and three of its last four.
Kansas City is an 11.5-point favorite and -750 on the moneyline, while Washington is +525 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 47.5 points.

Chiefs vs. Commanders Best Prop Bets
Patrick Mahomes anytime touchdown (+310)
The Chiefs employ a running back committee, and Mahomes is the leader of the pack. Isiah Pacheco leads in total yards, but he’s not as efficient nor does he score as much. Kareem Hunt ranks below Mahomes in all three of those categories.
Mahomes has 250 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 42 carries through seven games. He’s making an argument to be the best dual-threat quarterback in the league this season.
With Kansas City playing well and set to face a weak Washington defense, it’s a good bet that Mahomes finds the endzone during prime time. He’s +310, which is great value for a quarterback who rushes as much as he does.
Rashee Rice over 6.5 receptions (+115)
Rashee Rice made his season debut in Week 7, totaling 42 yards and two touchdowns on 7-of-10 targets. This is a great week on its own, but it’s even more impressive because Rice played in just 40.7 percent of offensive snaps.
With this being his second game of the season, it’s likely he plays more this time around. The more he’s on the field, the more likely Mahomes will pepper him with targets. The wide receiver room is thin as is, so Rice’s return is a major help for the Chiefs.
Deebo Samuel Sr. over 4.5 receptions (-102)
The Commanders are without Daniels yet again, making for another difficult week. Even with Daniels on the field, this would be a challenge beating a Chiefs team that’s won four of their last five.
Marcus Mariota is starting under center, making it more likely that Deebo Samuel Sr. is targeted over Terry McLaurin. McLaurin is more of a deep threat, while Samuel runs routes over the middle of the field. These are much easier completions for Mariota, who is only completing 60.3 percent of his passes this season.
The Commanders had a bye in Week 7, but Samuel caught four passes for 15 yards in Week 6. This is why I’m staying away from Samuel’s yards and taking his receptions. It’s more likely he gets the ball for short plays, especially with the Chiefs having such a stout secondary.
