Hamdy Abdelwahab takes on Chris “Beastboy” Barnett in a three-round Heavyweight contest on the UFC 321 Prelims. In his last bout, Abdelwahab suffered his first career loss against Mohammed Usman in June. The 39-year-old Barnett is 2-3 in the UFC and is fighting for the first time in a year.

Hamdy Abdelwahab To Win By KO/TKO/DQ (+110)

This is a mismatch, as Abdelwahab is four inches taller and is a much better athlete than Barnett. Abdelwahab’s UFC career hasn’t gotten off to a great start: he is 1-1 with one no-contest in three bouts in the promotion. But facing Barnett, who is seven years older, is a good spot for Abdelwahab to get back on track.

Abdelwahab is a -500 favorite in this bout as Barnett is a +380 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. Before Abdelwahab entered the UFC, he won five straight fights to start his career by KO/TKO. At 32 years old, a finish against Barnett is necessary for Abdelwahab if he wants to get bigger fights in the future. Abdelwahab needs to be more aggressive and have a higher output in the striking department to find more success.
