Justin Herbert leads the league with 2,140 passing yards and has attempted the most passes (296). Drake Maye has the highest completion percentage at 75.2% while Matthew Stafford has thrown the most touchdowns (17). Geno Smith and Tua Tagovailoa have thrown the most interceptions (10), and Cam Ward has taken the most sacks (30). Stafford has completed the most passes over 20 yards (30), while Sam Darnold and Dak Prescott lead the league with six completed passes over 40 yards (six). Finally, Stafford has the longest completion at 88 yards.

Here are my favorite QB/WR stacks for Week 8.

5. Jalen Hurts ($6,600) & DeVonta Smith ($5,900), Eagles vs. Giants

The passing attack has certainly picked up for the Eagles since the first two weeks, when Hurts attempted only 22 and 23 passes without a touchdown. Over the last five weeks, Hurts has thrown at least two touchdowns in all but one of those contests, racking up three touchdowns in two of them. He’s attempted over 30+ passes in three of those games. These teams met in Week 6, and Hurts went 24-for-33 for 283 yards and a touchdown. He did throw an interception, but also had a rushing touchdown. With the way Jaxson Dart is playing, Philadelphia will likely have to be aggressive.

A. J. Brown is out for this one, so Smith should be the fulcrum. He’s received double-digit targets in two of the last three games — and those were with Brown on the field.

4. Bo Nix ($6,000) & Courtland Sutton ($6,200), Broncos vs. Cowboys

This game has the highest total on the slate at 50.5, but I have some concerns about it becoming a back-and-forth affair. The Denver pass defense is really solid, and the unit generates tons of pressure. In addition, this game is in Denver, and Nix hasn’t been consistent. That said, I just could not ignore the matchup, as the Cowboys have allowed the third-highest EPA per dropback with 16 passing touchdowns to only three interceptions.

Sutton leads the Broncos with 50 targets on the season and received 10 targets in two of the last three contests.

3. Caleb Williams ($5,600) & Rome Odunze ($6,300), Bears at Ravens

Williams put up over 24 FPTS in two of the first three games of the season. Since then, he’s failed to hit 20 FPTS and only scored 5.7 FPTS last week, as the Bears have relied on their ground game. Lamar Jackson is officially questionable for the Ravens, but he was a full participant in practice on Friday, and the betting markets are indicating that Jackson will likely play, as Baltimore is favored by seven points and the total is up at 49.5. With the Ravens likely putting up points, Williams will have to be aggressive to keep pace. He attempted 26 and 29 passes the last two weeks, but that number should eclipse 30 this week. The matchup is a good one as the Ravens defense has allowed the seventh-highest EPA per dropback with 14 touchdowns allowed to only one interception. The unit has also only racked up nine sacks, and is 30th in pressure rate.

Odunze only received five and six targets the last two weeks, but he still is the target leader by a wide margin with 46 on the season. In the first four weeks of the season, Odunze garnered nine, 11, seven and eight targets. There’s a good chance he sees close to 10 targets in this one.

2. Jaxson Dart ($5,500) & Wan’Dale Robinson ($5,200), Giants at Eagles

Dart has been very impressive to start his career. The game doesn’t look too fast for him and, while he only went 15-of-33 last week, he totaled 283 yards with three touchdowns against a tough Broncos team in Denver. He also has rushing equity, having scored three times on the ground while totaling over 50 yards in three contests. Dart faced Philadelphia in Week 6 and went 17-for-25 for 195 yards and a touchdown while rushing 13 times for 58 yards and a touchdown. The Eagles are 7.5 favorites at home, but I think this game could be a back-and-forth affair.

Robinson is only 5′ 8″ and 185 pounds, but he runs a 4.44 40-yard dash, and has been peppered with seven, seven, and 12 targets over the last three weeks. He leads the Giants with 53 targets on the season. The aDOT is only 9.3 yards but he has a 58.9% designed target share, second-best in the league. Robinson has put up 15.5 and 20.4 FPTS over the last two weeks and has a high of 31.2 FPTS on the season.

1. Joe Flacco ($5,400) & Ja’Marr Chase ($8,100), Bengals vs. Jets

Cincinnati leads the league in pass rate at 67.33%. Since Flacco has arrived in Cincinnati, he’s attempted 45 and 47 passes. There’s a slight concern that the volume may not be as robust due to the ineptitude of the Jets’ offense, but I still think Flacco slings it around and provides fantasy goodies before possibly shutting it down towards the end of the game. And why not? The best offensive weapons happen to be his wide receivers, and the matchup against New York is extremely favorable, as the Jets have allowed the second-highest EPA per dropback with 13 passing touchdowns allowed and no interceptions. Sauce Gardner, the best cornerback for New York, is also out for this one.

Chase leads the NFL with 80 targets. Flacco peppered him with a laughable 23 targets last week. In Week 6, he fed Chase 12 times. I have a not-so-sneaky suspicion that Flacco is going to feed Chase over and over and over again in this one.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
