The Texans are visiting the Seahawks on Monday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Seattle is favored by three points and this game carries a total of 41.5 points.

Nick Chubb U 8.5 Receiving Yards (-111)

While Chubb has been decent as a rusher this season, averaging 4.3 YPC, the aging veteran has been a non-factor in the passing game. Chubb has only caught seven passes for 46 yards and he has finished with two receiving yards or less in three of his five games, which is a product of a very small receiving role. While running a route on only 30% of his team’s dropbacks, Chubb is handling a low 6.9% target share.

Chubb has only run nine routes in four of his five games this season and mostly using him for just ground work makes a ton of sense at his age, especially with a strong pass-catching rookie back in Woody Marks also on this Texans roster.

While Chubb is facing a Seahawks defense that is giving up the second-most receiving yards to running backs this season (344), his pass-catching role is so minuscule that backing him for under 8.5 receiving yards is a smart move, regardless of the friendly matchup.
