The quarterback carousel has already spun a little bit this season with Joe Flacco headlining the players finding new places in the middle of the season. There could be further adjustments coming as we head into Week 8, which is also the busiest bye week of the year. You might need some extra time to figure out your roster plans with six teams on a bye, so let’s start the week with a rundown of the top 15 in my fantasy football QB rankings for this week.
The Cardinals, Lions, Jaguars, Raiders, Rams, and Seahawks all get the week off this week, leaving 26 teams in the mix. The schedule includes some favorable matchups to attack and a few to avoid, so be sure to check out my QB rankings before locking in your lineup.
Before we get to Week 8’s rankings, let’s take one more look back at Week 7. The top quarterback performance of the week coming into Monday came from Bo Nix (40 FPTS) in the Broncos huge comeback, Justin Herbert (32.9 FPTS) in the Chargers’ attempted comeback, Jaxson Dart (29.4 FPTS), Joe Flacco (29 FPTS), and Matthew Stafford (27.4 FPTS). It was a high-scoring week for quarterbacks overall, with 12 QBs putting up over 20 fantasy points.
Unfortunately, Sunday’s slate also brought us two key injuries to watch coming into week 8 since both Bryce Young (10.5 FPTS) and Jayden Daniels (18.7 FPTS) left their games with injuries and are uncertain for their Week 8 matchups.
