What happened to Chris Olave? Live injury updates for Bears vs. Saints NFL Week 7 on 10/19/25

UPDATE 2:02pm ET: Chris Olave has returned to the game against the Bears after a brief stint in the medical tent.

In a game full of weather perils, revenge narratives (Dennis Allen at DC), and hopes for ascending quarterbacks, a familiar story unfortunately emerges: the Saints offense looks overmatched against a ferocious Chicago Bears defense, and it’s resulted in an injury to their start third-year wideout, Chris Olave:

Olave remains in the injury tent with what looks like a leg injury for now, but there’s no official word from beat writers nor the Saints themselves about what exactly happened to Olave. Before Spencer Rattler threw an interception, Olave looked hurt on a second-down play.

The Saints have already seen their backup running back, Kendre Miller, leave the game and require a questionable tag. They need as much help on offense as possible, right now.
