It has not been a fun season for Bengals fans, but over the last two weeks, Ja’Marr Chase has done his part for Cincinnati. Chase has 16 catches for 204 yards and three touchdowns over the past two games. This promo pick is a must-add to any Pick6 plays on Thursday night.
DK Metcalf More Than 0.5 Rushing + Receiving TDs
DK Metcalf and Aaron Rodgers have been starting to fire on all cylinders over the past two games. After a relatively slow couple of weeks, Metcalf has been on fire in his last two games. Metcalf combined for 221 receiving yards against the Browns and Vikings. Aaron Rodgers is looking his way early and often, and the targets are translating to big numbers. Not only is Metcalf racking up the yards, but he is also finding the end zone almost every week. Since Week 2, Metcalf has now scored a touchdown in four straight games. It has been a pattern throughout his career that Aaron Rodgers wants the ball in his hands in the red zone. The Steelers rank fourth in the NFL in passing touchdown percentage, with 77% of their touchdowns coming through the air. When they get into scoring position, they give the ball to Rodgers, and Rodgers wants to get the ball to Metcalf. DK Metcalf should make this five straight games with a touchdown against a Bengals defense that ranks 27th in the NFL in defensive EPA/dropback.
Joe Flacco More Than 232.5 Passing Yards
Joe Flacco will be making his second start for the Bengals after being traded within the division from Cleveland. Flacco was thrust into a tough spot, having to start a road game in Green Bay against a great defense after only getting a couple of days to practice. This is another tough spot for Flacco on a short week, but at least he now has game experience with his new team and a couple of extra days of practice. Things should look sharper between Flacco and his great targets, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Joe Flacco is throwing the ball at an incredibly high rate this season, both in Cleveland and in Cincinnati. Flacco ranks second in the NFL with 41 passing attempts per game. The Bengals rank first in the league in pass play percentage as a team. This should be another pass-heavy approach by Flacco against the Steelers, who rank 27th in the NFL in opponent passing yards per game. Flacco should get over 232.5 passing yards on Thursday night.
