Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season continues with a great Monday Night Football doubleheader. The night starts with a battle between the Falcons and the Bills, followed by the Bears and the Commanders. Jacory Crokskey-Merritt More than 0.5 Rush + Receiving Touchdowns
Few players have taken the league by storm out of nowhere like Jacory Croskey-Merritt. Croskey-Merritt, more commonly known as just “Bill,” emerged as a star for the Commanders during the preseason for his electric running style and big personality. The seventh-round draft pick was expected to be way down the depth chart behind the likes of Austin Ekeler, Brian Robinson Jr. and Chris Rodriguez. However, Robinson was traded and Ekeler is out for the year with an injury. Croskey-Merritt has outperformed Chris Rodriguez and Jeremy McNichols, making him the starting running back for the Commanders.
He is coming off a career-best game in which he rushed for 111 yards and two scores against the Chargers. Now, he should find the end zone again against the Bears. Chicago ranks 22nd in defensive EPA/rush and 26th in defensive rushing success rate. Washington should move the ball well on the ground, so Croskey-Merritt should find the end zone.
James Cook More Than 70.5 Rushing Yards
James Cook should get a heavy dose of touches against the Falcons. The Bills rank first in the NFL in offensive EPA/play this season, but they struggled last week against New England. After three straight 100-yard rushing games, Cook only had 49 yards against New England. The Bills should get back to their bread and butter in this game. The Bills’ offense is at its best when Cook is dominating on the ground and the play-action pass opens up for Allen. The Falcons have a good pass rush and secondary, ranking in the top seven in the NFL in defensive EPA/dropback and defensive dropback success rate. The Bills should try to work it on the ground, where the Falcons rank 27th in defensive rushing success rate. That should get Cook over this number of 70.5 rushing yards on Monday night.
Bijan Robinson More Than 110.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
Bijan Robinson is an early NFL Offensive Player of the Year contender. He has the third-best odds to win the award behind only Puka Nacua and Jonathan Taylor. Robinson has been a valuable asset for Michael Penix Jr., who is still trying to figure out how to quarterback in the NFL. Robinson is such a special player because he can run between the tackles, break outside with tremendous speed and is a great weapon in the passing game. He is the Falcons’ leading rusher and receiver through four games this season.], so he should get more than 110.5 rushing + receiving yards in this game against Buffalo. He is averaging 146 scrimmage yards per game this season, the most in the NFL. The Bills rank 28th in the NFL in defensive EPA/rush, meaning Robinson should carve them up. Bijan Robinson has cleared this combo number in every game this season and should do so again on Monday night.
