Stud
Ty Simpson, Alabama at Missouri, $9,000
Ty Simpson is having a great season for Alabama. After losing Jalen Milroe to the NFL, the quarterback position was a big question mark for Kalen DeBoer. However, Simpson’s experience and maturity have paid off, allowing him to thrive in this system. Simpson ranks third in the Heisman Trophy odds at DraftKings Sportsbook, with a 13-1 TD-INT ratio on the season. This is a massive game for Alabama against Missouri, and Simpson will need to step up to the plate. Over the past three games, Simpson is averaging 332.7 passing yards per game, with an 8-1 TD-INT ratio. He should work it to his amazing receivers and have a productive day through the air.
Value
Beau Pribula, Missouri vs. Alabama, $7,100
On the opposing sideline, Beau Pribula is having a great season of his own at Missouri. The Penn State transfer took to this offense fast despite having no real starting experience or knowledge of this system. He has Missouri off to a 5-0 start, and a win in this game makes them serious College Football Playoff contenders. Pribula is a dual-threat player who will take whatever the defense gives him. Against Kansas, he threw for 334 yards and three touchdowns. In his only SEC matchup of the season, against South Carolina, he ran for 72 yards. Pribula will be a nightmare for an Alabama defense that has been vulnerable to the run all season.
Running Back
Stud
Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame vs. NC State, $9,000
Jeremiyah Love is one of the best running backs in college football. Love was a huge part of last season’s team that made it to the national title game, and he has picked up where he left off in 2024. Over his last four games, he has a total of nine touchdowns. Love is getting it done on the ground, averaging over 102 rushing yards per game over his past four games. However, he has also been a threat through the air. He had at least four catches in three games this season and had at least 50 receiving yards in two of those three games. NC State ranks 82nd in the nation in defensive EPA/rush and should get worked by Love and the Notre Dame offensive line.

CJ Donaldson, Ohio State at Illinois, $5,300
CJ Donaldson is worth a spin if you need to plug in a really cheap running back. Ohio State has operated with a three-man committee out of the backfield so far this season. Donaldson is the cheapest of the three backs this week, but he has just as good a chance as any of them at putting up numbers. Bo Jackson leads the team in carries, but Donaldson is only three behind him. He is not as much of an explosive threat, but he has been a guy that Ryan Day looks to at the goal line. Donaldson leads the team with four rushing touchdowns on the season. He also has a receiving touchdown moreover, trailing only Jeremiah Smith in total touchdowns for the Buckeyes this season. With those touchdown numbers, he is worth a value play this week.
Wide Receiver
Stud
Eric McAlister, TCU at Kansas State, $6,800
Eric McAlister is one of the most explosive wide receivers in college football. He is the go-to receiver for star quarterback Josh Hoover. Hoover is one of the best quarterbacks in the country and loves to run the “Eric is up there somewhere” play. Over his past two games, against SMU and Colorado, McAlister has put up otherworldly numbers. He combined for 12 catches for 319 yards and five touchdowns over the two games. Kansas State ranks 91st in the nation in defensive EPA/drive. TCU should move it down the field against them, feeding McAlister along the way.

Germie Bernard, Alabama at Missouri, $5,900
If you read my work, you know that I talk about Germie Bernard whenever possible. He is one of my favorite players in the country because he can truly do it all for Alabama. He is Kalen DeBoer’s most trusted player, as the two have been together since his Washington days. Bernard is an electric receiver who can beat his man over the top or across the middle of the field. He is also regularly used in trick plays, reverses and other unique gadget plays. DeBoer just wants the ball in Bernard’s hands by any means possible. That has led to Bernard scoring six total touchdowns this season, twice as many as anyone else on the Crimson Tide. This should be another big game for Bernard to show what he can do.

Stud
Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State at Illinois, $9,000
Jeremiah Smith is the most talented receiver in college football. He will be a top draft pick in 2027, and is a Heisman contender this season. He leads the Buckeyes with 35 catches, 463 yards and seven touchdowns this season. Smith broke onto the scene in 2024 as a spectacular true freshman, but has already topped himself this season. Over his past four games, he has seven total touchdowns and is averaging 105.8 receiving yards per game. The Illini defense can be attacked in this game. They rank 94th in the country in EPA/play, 100th in success rate and 108th in EPA/drive. Julian Sayin should work it to Smith early and often in this game.
Value
Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State at Illinois, $5,600
Why have only one Ohio State wide receiver in your lineup when you can have two? While Jeremiah Smith is towards the top of the Heisman odds board, Carnell Tate is one of the most underrated receivers in the country. Last season, he was the WR3 behind Smith and Emeka Egbuka. While Egbuka is off dominating the NFL, Tate has stepped up to that WR2 role. He showed flashes of greatness last season, but has been truly special this season. He has taken full advantage of the defensive attention given to Jeremiah Smith, dominating single coverage situations. Tate only has 31 fewer receiving yards than Smith this season, averaging 18.1 yards per catch. Tate has a touchdown in four out of five games this season, and should have another great performance against Illinois.
