Bryce Harper 1+ Home Run (+331)
It’s tough to pick a home run prop for this contest. That’s how good Cristopher Sanchez and Tyler Glasnow can be on any given night. That said, if you have to bet against one of these men, I’m certainly avoiding Sanchez, who allowed the fewest opponent long balls per nine of any qualified starter during the regular season (0.53). It’s not like Glasnow is perfect, either. According to Statcast’s Park Factors, Dodger Stadium was the most home run friendly ball park in 2025 by a pretty wide margin. Glasnow played into the trend, surrendering 80% of his long balls in his home starts. Meanwhile, Bryce Harper is looking for another postseason moment — this time in a NLDS elimination game. Harper posted a .240 ISO and a 135 wRC+ against RHPs during the regular season and, for his career, he’s 4-for-12 (.333) off Glasnow with a pair of extra-base knocks. When the Phillies need him most, I’m expecting Harper to step-up.
William Contreras 1+ Home Run (+610)
It’s unclear how long he’ll pitch or if he’ll come in after an opener, but I’m assuming Matthew Boyd will be on the mound at some point in Game 4 for the Cubs. I mean, not only would this be normal rest, but Boyd also only threw 30 pitches in Game 1. I think his arm is feeling just fine. If that does end up being the case, it’s a great opportunity for William Contreras. Before we get into his personal domination of Boyd, let us remember that Contreras destroys all LHPs. For his career, the backstop is hitting .304 within the split with a .901 OPS and a 148 wRC+. It’s not just Boyd. That said, Contreras is also 5-for-10 with a home run off Boyd in their regular season matchups. Add in a booming double on Saturday, and you can see why getting Contreras at odds this long are enticing.
