Week 5 of the 2025 NFL season brings another NFC West matchup on Thursday Night Football. The Los Angeles Rams welcome the San Francisco 49ers to L.A. for this divisional showdown. With the home team playing some of their best football behind a stellar offense, Puka Nacua has the chance to make a significant impact and maybe even down a rival near-singlehandedly.

Here are the best Puka Nacua prop bets to consider for Rams vs. 49ers on Thursday Night Football in Week 5.

A seventh-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, absolutely nobody could’ve predicted the meteoric rise of Puka Nacua. Well, except Sean McVay, but even the Rams’ head coach has probably seen his expectations for the wideout far surpassed at this point. Through the first four weeks of the 2025 campaign, Nacua has firmly cemented his status as a top-five receiver in the entire league. A receiving line of 49 targets with 42 catches for 503 yards sees the star pace the NFL in all three of those categories, and his 93.5 PFF receiving grade also ranks first as well. Despite just two total touchdowns (one on the ground and one through the air), it’s clear to see that a healthy Nacua belongs in the upper echelon of players at his position.

To this point, the 49ers have a very solid pass defense holding opponents to just 165 passing yards per game, sixth-fewest of any team. However, they’ve also allowed a 95.9 passer rating to opponents which comes in at 21st league-wide, and Matthew Stafford is also playing some of the best football of his long career with 1,114 yards and eight touchdowns through the air. Those stats rank second and third among all quarterbacks, his 12 big-time throws pace the position outright, and his 90.8 PFF passing grade also ranks second-best. It appears an unstoppable force now meets a near-immovable object.

Nacua’s prop bet lines on DraftKings Sportsbook sit at O/U 7.5 receptions and 95.5 yards with a +100 listing to score an anytime touchdown. However, the traditional over on that receptions line comes in with -153 odds, and while it’s a very safe bet with the star dominating target share, bettors may find it more intriguing to instead target 9+ receptions for Nacua at +122 for added value. He averaged 10.5 catches per game through the first four weeks and his massive 37.9% target share paces all pass catchers in the NFL.

Even with a few concerns about game script with the 49ers missing Brock Purdy, George Kittle, Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings, there’s not too much to worry about when it comes to Nacua’s volume. He’s a truly dominant player you can count on to see plenty of looks in any given matchup since he’s the engine that makes this Rams offense go.

Best Bet: Puka Nacua 9+ receptions (+122)
