What happened to Braelon Allen? Live injury updates for NFL Week 4 on 9/29/25

UPDATE: Allen will not return.

In the second quarter of Monday’s game vs. the Dolphins, RB Braelon Allen exited the game after taking a hit to his knee on a kickoff return. Allen was helped to the medical tent after the hit. He was later seen limping to the locker room on the broadcast.

Before exiting, Allen rushed four times for 26 yards. He had a costly fumble at the goal line that cost New York a touchdown on their opening drive. Expect to see more of Breece Hall and Isaiah Davis if Allen does not return. In the opening three games of this season, he rushed 14 times for 50 yards and a touchdown.
