The final game of Week 4 will take place in Denver on Monday night as the Bengals face the Broncos.
Tee Higgins is looking to bounce back from a rough start to the season under the lights on Monday Night Football. Through three games, he has seven catches, 104 yards and a touchdown. Those are the stats he is capable of putting up in just one game, let alone three.
It’s still early, though, and Jake Browning can only improve. When Browning filled in for Burrow in 2023, he looked much better than he did in the Bengals’ 48-10 Week 3 loss to Minnesota. So, will Higgins get back to his 2024 form, or will the tough stretch continue?

Higgins has only gone over this total once this season, but he’s too good of a player to let that continue.
Jake Browning hasn’t been amazing in filling in for Joe Burrow so far this season, and Higgins isn’t the only Bengals receiver struggling. Ja’Marr Chase has had more success than Higgins, but he hasn’t been his usual dominant self in two of the three games so far this season, being held to 50 or less yards twice.
You have to think that Jake Browning can get back to what he showed us in 2023, where he featured in nine games. He completed 70.4% of his passes and threw for 1,936 yards, 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Browning has shown he can be a solid backup, and to his credit, the Vikings have been a top-three defense against the pass this season. Denver presents a below-average passing defense so far this season, ranking 18th in the NFL in yards per game. Browning has had another week of practice with the starters, and I expect a much better showing this week.
As a result, Higgins should be more productive. In 12 games last season, Higgins went over this total 10 times. I expect him to have his breakout performance of the season in what’s been a slow start to 2025.
