Jordan Love best prop bets for Packers vs. Cowboys on Sunday Night Football Week 4

By: Sean Barnard

The Dallas Cowboys will host Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers for the Week 4 Sunday Night Football matchup. Plenty of eyes will be on the matchup with Micah Parsons making his return to Dallas for the first time since the trade exactly one month ago. But both these teams are still looking to cement their place as threats in the NFC after hitting some early-season turbulence.

Green Bay enters with a 2-1 record but will be looking to wipe the slate clean after losing to the Cleveland Browns 13-10 last week. Dallas holds a 1-2 record with their lone victory coming over the New York Giants in a 40-27 shootout.

Looking at the odds on DraftKings Sportsbook, the Packers enter as 7-point favorites and hold -345 odds on the moneyline. The Cowboys hold +275 odds of getting the outright victory, with the game total set at O/U 47.5 points.

There are plenty of ways to get involved in the action outside of backing a side or total. This article will look at my top Jordan Love prop bets ahead of tonight’s Week 4 Sunday Night Football matchup.

Best Jordan Love Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Jordan Love Over 235.5 Passing Yards (-112)

Jordan Love should have been licking his chops in the film room leading up to this matchup. The Dallas Cowboys have some legitimate defensive issues that have been on full display in the early weeks of the season. They rank 27th in points allowed, 30th in total yards allowed, 32nd in passing yards conceded, 32nd in net yards per pass attempt, and 31st in EPA per pass play. This is especially concerning as Russell Wilson and Caleb Williams were the past two quarterbacks they faced, who combined for 748 passing yards and seven passing touchdowns.

Jordan Love enters with a 67.9% completion percentage for 663 passing yards, five touchdowns, and one interception on the year. He threw for 292 passing yards against the Commanders, but was held under the 235.5 passing yard prop line against the Lions and Browns. The game script did not allow for a strong passing performance against Detroit, with the Packers getting out to an early lead, and last week was disastrous across the board. Love attempted 25 or fewer passes in both games.

This is an ideal get-right spot for Love and the Packers offense. The franchise quarterback is just two seasons removed from averaging 244.6 passing yards per game, and Green Bay has done a nice job building up a strong group of pass catchers around him. Count on him capitalizing on the porous Dallas defense and picking up chunks throughout to throw for over 235.5 passing yards for the second time this season.

Jordan Love to Throw for 3+ Passing Touchdowns (+262)

To take a bit of a bigger swing, I like Love’s chances of throwing for three touchdown passes with the +262 odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. He is coming off back-to-back weeks with two touchdown passes and has five total on the season. Love has seven career games with 3+ passing touchdowns, including three games last year.

Dallas allowed four passing touchdowns to Caleb Williams last week, as well as three passing touchdowns to Russell Wilson the week before. Jayden Daniels added just one passing touchdown in the season opener, although the Commanders also added two touchdowns on the ground. Green Bay has a more complete offense than any of these teams mentioned, and Love will be ready to let it fly in this matchup.

Three passing touchdowns is a high bar, but Love will not see a much more friendly match than this. Expect his array of pass catchers to spread out this Dallas defense and for the Utah State product to put forth his most impressive passing performance of the season thus far. He holds -143 odds of throwing for two touchdowns, but I am taking the +262 swing for a third touchdown and expect the points to come with little resistance in this matchup.
