Indiana Fever vs. Las Vegas Aces prediction, pick for Sunday 9/28/25

The Fever are hosting the Aces on Sunday for Game 4 of this semi-finals playoff series. Las Vegas leads this best-of-five series 2-1, and the Aces can advance to the WNBA Finals with a win on Sunday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Las Vegas is favored by four points, and this game carries a total of 159.5 points.

Below, I break down Fever vs. Aces Game 4 and give a pick.

Fever vs. Aces preview, prediction

After losing Game 1, the Aces have looked far better than Fever. In Game 2, Las Vegas ran away with a 22-point win and then in Game 3 in Indiana, the Aces defeated the Fever by 12 points for a very strong road win. Since dropping Game 1, Las Vegas has won seven of the eight quarters between these teams.

A’ja Wilson and Jackie Young have both had excellent moments in this series for the Aces. Wilson went off for 25 points in Game 2’s rout over the Fever, and then in Game 3, Young had a 25-point performance of her own. Wilson and Young are the best one-two punch in the WNBA, and if Indiana’s defense continues to struggle Sunday, this very well could be the end of the road for this shorthanded Fever team. This postseason, Indiana ranks third-to-last in defensive rating and last of the four remaining playoff teams.

After being held to just 13 points in Game 2, Kelsey Mitchell bounced back in Game 3 with 21 points, but the guard’s efforts obviously weren’t enough to keep up with the Aces, as Indiana lost by 12 points on its home floor. The Fever’s run to the semi-finals has been inspiring, but with Caitlin Clark (groin), Aari McDonald (foot) and Sophie Cunningham (knee) all out, Indiana simply doesn’t have enough fire power outside of Mitchell to compete with this Aces team that won 17 games in a row this season and is currently a -140 favorite to win the WNBA championship on DraftKings Sportsbook. Mitchell is averaging 23 points per game during these playoffs, but after her, the next highest scorer for the Fever is Odyssey Sims at just 11.3 points per game.

Fever vs. Aces pick, best bet

The Fever have shown a ton of heart this postseason and have plenty to build off going forward, but Indiana’s season should come to a close Sunday with the Aces advancing to the WNBA Finals with a win.

Las Vegas leads the playoffs in net rating, while the Fever rank last among the four remaining playoff teams. After their impressive play over the last two games, the Aces should be favored by more than four points, and backing them to cover this line is wise.

Best Bet: Aces -4 (-110)
