While this has been an interesting battle over the last couple of matches, Liverpool are on fire to start this season. They sit atop the Premier League, having won five of five in domestic league action, and won their first Champions League match of the year as well. Crystal Palace is the only team other than Liverpool that is yet to lose a Premier League match this season. They currently sit fifth in the Premier League table, having won two matches and drawn three. Palace finished 12th in the league last season but won the FA Cup, making it a great season for the club. They are hoping to use that momentum to finish higher in the league table this season. This will be a big test to see if they can stay invincible through six matches while facing the league leaders and defending champions.

Liverpool have scored more goals than anyone in the Premier League this season, but have also had problems conceding goals. Crystal Palace rank third in the Premier League in expected goals this season, and should start scoring more goals over the coming matches. These teams scored four goals in their Community Shield match. Including that outing, Liverpool matches have gone over 3.5 goals in four of eight fixtures this season. That makes this a great bet at these odds.
