The first matchup of this week’s MNF doubleheader features an AFC East battle between the Dolphins and Jets. These teams have struggled out of the gates, but it’s often in these types of matchups that you can find an edge in the Anytime TD market. Breece Hall (+105)
After a monstrous Week 1 showing, Hall was kept in check on the ground over New York’s following two matchups. While some may take that as a warning sign for a potentially decreased workload, I put more stock into the Bills’ and Bucs’ run defenses playing factors in Hall’s lack of efficiency. Even with those underwhelming rushing outings, the 24-year-old has stayed frequently involved in the passing game and is locked in atop the RB depth chart.
This week, Hall won’t have the matchup excuse to fall back on, and I don’t think he’ll need it. The Dolphins allow the fifth-most rushing yards per game and were just ripped apart by James Cook on the ground. Mike McDaniel’s squad has allowed four rushing touchdowns over their first three contests, and I expect that trend to continue with Hall on Monday night.
Tyreek Hill (+130)
I predicted that Hill would score his first touchdown of the 2025 campaign last Thursday against the Bills, and the speedster followed through. It wasn’t a particularly efficient night for Hill, but he was heavily involved in the passing attack against a tough secondary, seeing 10 targets on a season-high 87% snap share.
Just as Hall is dealing with a much-improved matchup on the ground, Hill should see quite a few more opportunities to succeed against the Jets. New York is giving up over 75 more yards through the air than Buffalo, allowing both Emeka Egbuka and Sterling Shepard to eclipse 80 receiving yards in Week 3.
While Miami is 0-3, the offense has shown signs of life over its last two outings. If Tua Tagovailoa and company are going to pick up their first win of the season, Hill will need to play a significant role.
