The Bills have another easy matchup this week as they host the Saints. It’s one undefeated team vs. one winless team.
Buffalo is a 15.5-point favorite and -1350 on the moneyline, while New Orleans is +800 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 47.5 points.
Here are my three favorite player props for this Week 4 NFL game between the Bills and Saints.
Bills vs. Saints Best Prop Bets
James Cook over 75.5 rushing yards (-112)
James Cook continues to prove he’s one of the best running backs in the NFL. After a lackluster Week 1 in terms of rushing yards, he totaled over 100 rushing yards in Weeks 2 and 3.
His involvement in the pass game dipped in those weeks, but he became an elite threat on the ground, scoring three touchdowns during that stretch.
It would be nice to take his anytime touchdown prop, especially against the Saints, but it’s listed at -200 odds. Unless you parlay that with something, it’s not worth the price. A +380 first touchdown prop or +270 for two touchdowns are options if you really want to bet his touchdowns.
Personally, the rushing line is a better option. It’s safer and still reliable. The Saints’ defense isn’t bad against the rush, but Cook has been phenomenal in the past two weeks. He should be more than capable of hitting the over on this prop.
Chris Olave over 6.5 receptions (+115)
The Saints might be a miserable team to watch this season, but they still feature a great. wide receiver in Chris Olave. The fourth-year pro is injury prone, but is great when he’s on the field.
Even with Spencer Rattler starting under center, Olave has put up solid numbers to start the 2025 season. His yards could use some work as he only totaled 54, 54 and 57 yards in the first three weeks. Additionally, he hasn’t scored, but he has racked up 23 receptions, which ranks fourth in the NFL.
Despite his injury concerns and lack of scoring thus far, Olave is an active member of the Saints’ offense. He’s earned double-digit targets in all three weeks this season. This is something that should continue to happen over the course of the regular season.
The Bills will likely blow out the Saints, which means Rattler will be throwing the ball to attempt a quick comeback. Olave will be the primary target and should hit the over on his receptions.
Josh Allen over 19.5 completions (+100)
Josh Allen is further proving why he should be considered the best quarterback in the NFL. He’s off to an excellent start, throwing for 755 yards and five touchdowns through three weeks. He’s also rushed for 114 yards and two scores.
Let’s focus on his passing, which should be on display during this Saints matchup in Week 4. New Orleans allows the 17th fewest passing yards to opponents and 29th fewest touchdowns. This isn’t a paper-thin defense, but it’s not sturdy either.
Allen carves up just about every unit he sees, so this should be easy. The main problem could be that it’s a projected blowout. If it gets out of hand early, the Bills will milk the clock and limit Allen’s passing.
Nonetheless, it’s worth a shot since it’s plus money and he’s hit the over in two of three weeks this year.
