NFL Props: Best Cooper Kupp Bets for Seahawks at Cardinals on Thursday 9/25/25

Cooper Kupp had one of the greatest receiver seasons ever in 2021, when he won the Triple Crown and the Offensive Player of the Year award, so although he’d since been passed in the Los Angeles Rams’ pecking order by Puka Nacua, it was somewhat of a surprise that the Rams opted to release Kupp in the offseason. Kupp subsequently signed a three-year, $45 million contract with the Seattle Seahawks to return to his home state (he hails from Yakima, a two-hour drive from Lumen Field).

Kupp has had a solid start to the 2025 season and will look to keep developing chemistry with new quarterback Sam Darnold when the Seahawks travel to face the Arizona Cardinals for a Thursday Night Football clash starting at 8:15 p.m. ET.

Seattle is a 1.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total set to 43.5. Below, I’ve detailed my favorite prop bets centered around Kupp.

Best Cooper Kupp Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Cooper Kupp 50+ Receiving Yards (+121)

Darnold only really looked Kupp’s way in the Seahawks’ Week 2 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, when he caught seven of his nine targets for 90 yards. In each of the other games, he was quiet, with only three targets in each, although none of the starters played much in Seattle’s Week 3 demolition of the New Orleans Saints. In terms of underperformance in a competitive game, that just leaves Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers, who have a good secondary, and his chemistry with Darnold is better now. Kupp’s advanced numbers are on par with what he posted in his last couple of seasons in Los Angeles; he’s not washed.

Arizona looked like one of the league’s most dominant secondaries in Week 1 when it beat the Saints, and second-round cornerback Will Johnson looked like one of the steals of the draft. But Spencer Rattler, a fifth-rounder last season and one of the worst starters in the NFL, is hardly a litmus test. Johnson was somewhat less impressive the following week against the Carolina Panthers before missing the Week 3 loss to the San Francisco 49ers with a foot injury, and he hasn’t practiced yet this week. In his absence, the Cardinals conceded 117 yards to Ricky Pearsall and 88 to running back Christian McCaffrey. Overall, they rank third in passing yards allowed, which should allow both Kupp and Jaxon Smith-Njigba to thrive.

Cooper Kupp 5+ Receptions (+138)

These bets sort of go hand in hand: since Smith-Njigba is one of the league’s best deep threats and Darnold has a strong arm, Kupp has been used mostly on shorter routes, and his 5.5-yard average depth of target is the lowest figure of his career. He also hasn’t broken a tackle yet this season and his 5.5 yards per catch after reception marks the second-lowest figure of his career. If he gets 50 yards, it’ll mostly be a product of volume, not efficiency, though he still ranks 19th league-wide in post-catch yards over expectation.

He’s helped by the fact that Arizona has ranked 20th in tackling grades at PFF, though it has missed the 10th-fewest tackles. It also has allowed the 13th-shortest average depth of target and the 12th-most yards after the catch.

Plus, Kupp’s versatility might give him some easier matchups. While Johnson will likely shadow Smith-Njigba, who lines up mostly on the outside, Kupp will get many more reps against safety Jalen Thompson, who’s filling in at slot corner for the injured Garrett Williams and has a lower coverage grade than either Johnson or Denzel Burke, the Cardinals’ other outside cornerback. If Johnson is out, both Kupp and Smith-Njigba could get reps against Max Melton, who ranks just 74th among 102 qualified cornerbacks at PFF.
