After over 340k parlays were saved by DraftKings Sportsbook’s Ghost Leg promotion in the first two weeks of the 2025 NFL season, Ghost Leg has been revived.
As is the case with any revival, some changes have been made. We’re going to break those down to provide bettors with the full understanding of how they can utilize the Ghost Leg Bet & Get promotion — along with a refresher on how Ghost Legs work on DraftKings Sportsbook.
How Does Ghost Leg Bet & Get Work?
There are four simple steps to Ghost Leg Bet & Get:
- Opt-in, place a qualifying Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay and apply your Bet & Get Token.
- After TNF, you will receive a Ghost Leg token for Sunday’s NFL slate of games.
- Use your Ghost Leg token and place a Ghost Leg Parlay on Sunday.
- If one leg of your parlay loses, DraftKings Sportsbook will “ghost” that leg and pay out your winning selection in cash!
Qualifying Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay
In order to be a qualifying TNF SGP, the play must have the following:
- three or more (3+) legs
- minimum of +300 odds (+350, +500, etc.)
- minimum of -500 odds per leg
- wagering on this promotion must utilize funds from the bettor’s cash balance or DK Dollars
Sample Scenario
Ahead of Week 4’s TNF Seattle vs. Arizona matchup, a bettor opts-in for the promotion.
The bettor places a wager from their cash balance on a TNF SGP in order to receive a Ghost Leg Token for Week 4’s Sunday slate.
The bettor puts together a TNF SGP that has four legs and +325 odds. The TNF SGP does not hit.
The bet is settled following the conclusion of the game, and the bettor is rewarded with a Ghost Leg Token to be utilized for a parlay, SGP or SGPx during Week 4’s Sunday slate.
How does the Ghost Leg Token Work?
DraftKings Sportsbook bettors who place a Parlay, Same Game Parlay (SGP) or Same Game Parlay Extra (SGPx) that has at least three (3) legs and then apply a Ghost Leg Token will still get paid out in cash if one leg loses. The promo “ghosts” the losing leg and pays out the remaining legs, as if the losing leg never happened.
Sample Scenario
A bettor places a $10, five-leg NFL parlay using the Ghost Leg Token, in which the legs have the following odds:
- Leg 1: -400
- Leg 2: +150
- Leg 3: +200
- Leg 4: -150
- Leg 5: -250
The original parlay has total odds of +2087, resulting in a potential payout of $218.70 ($10 stake, $208.70 profit). But, Leg 2 loses.
Because the bettor used the Ghost Leg Token, the bet will be settled as a four-leg parlay that excludes the losing leg. The remaining legs (Legs 1, 3, 4, and 5) have odds of +775, resulting in a cash payout of $87.50 ($10 stake, $77.50 profit) based on the four-leg odds.
Requirements
Bettors can take advantage of this promotion by making a prematch or live Parlay, SGP or SGPx for Sunday’s NFL slate.
Each leg of the designated Parlay, SGP or SGPx must carry -500 odds or longer (-120, +250, etc.).
The designated Parlay, SGP or SGPx must have a minimum of three legs.
Void Details
If any of your legs are voided and the void makes your bet ineligible for the promo, you will get your token refunded.
If the voided leg doesn’t affect promo eligibility, your token will remain applied to the bet.
