The Ducks have had a cakewalk of a schedule for the first month of their season, and now face one of the best teams in the nation. This will be a big test for Moore to go up against elite defensive backs, but he seems up to the task so far. He has three touchdowns in his past three games, including one on the ground. The Ducks want to get the ball in Moore’s hands in any manner possible. It could take a trick play to beat this Penn State defense, and Moore is the best candidate to use in a situation like that. No matter how it comes about, Moore has a great chance to find the end zone in this game.
Kaytron Allen 70+ Rushing Yards (-102)
Penn State has one of the best running back duos in college football. Kaytron Allen and Nic Singleton were both phenomenal last season and decided to return together for another year at Penn State. So far this season, it has been a relatively even split in carries, but Allen has been much more explosive. Singleton has seven more carries, but Allen has nearly 100 more yards. That is because Allen is averaging 8.0 yards per carry, compared to 4.4 for Singleton. Allen only had eight carries in Week 1, but he had 144 yards in Week 2 and 86 yards in Week 3. Penn State should work it on the ground in this game. Oregon ranks 14th in the nation in defensive EPA/pass, compared to 54th in defensive EPA/rush. They can be attacked on the ground, and Allen should be up to the task. When these two teams faced off in the Big Ten Championship Game last season, Allen rushed for 124 yards. It could be a similar level of performance from Allen in this matchup, comfortably getting to 70 yards.
