The UFC is back in Perth, Western Australia, for a Fight Night event headlined by an elite Light Heavyweight matchup between No. 3 Carlos Ulberg vs. No. 7 Dominick Reyes. Ulberg looks to increase his UFC win streak to nine, but has a former title challenger, Reyes, in his way, who has won his last three fights via knockout. This is the UFC’s fourth event in Perth and first since UFC 305 on August 18, 2024.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Ulberg is a -250 favorite while Reyes is a +205 underdog. Ulberg is Eugene Baremen’s latest contender in the UFC. Baremen is the Head Coach at City Kickboxing, one of the top MMA gyms in the world. He has helped guide Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya to UFC gold, as well as many other perennial contenders, including Kai Kara-France and Dan Hooker.

Ulberg is coming off a victory against former UFC Champion Jan Blachowicz and has another formidable fighter in front of him in Reyes. Reyes has been in the UFC since 2017 and has had three parts to his journey in the promotion. From 2017 to 2019, Reyes went 6-0 with four finishes. However, from 2020 to 2022, he suffered four consecutive losses, including three knockouts.

But now, Reyes has returned to peak form, winning three straight fights in the last year, and is primed to make another run at a title shot. Reyes has six knockouts in the UFC, tied for the fourth most in Light Heavyweight history.

He isn’t the only fighter on this card in the history books, as Neil Magny is tied for second most wins in the UFC and sixth most fights in the promotion. Magny also has the most fights and wins in Welterweight history. The veteran, Magny, is taking on Jake Matthews, who is on a three-fight win streak. Magny is a +300 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook while Matthews is a -380 favorite.
