Opening odds and lines for NFL Week 4

Updated:

By: Stan Son

NFL Week 3 is almost in the books, pending the Monday night matchup, but the opening odds for Week 4 are up on DraftKings Sportsbook and it’s time to give them a look.

There is one game on Thursday. There are 13 games on Sunday, and there are two Monday night games.

Here’s the full list of Week 4 odds on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Thursday Game, September 25

Seahawks at Cardinals – 8:15 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
SEA Seahawks+1.5 -115O 43.5 -110-102
ARI Cardinals-1.5 -105U 43.5 -110-118

After losing their home opener, the Sam Darnold Seahawks have walloped the last two opponents by 14 and 31 points. Granted, those were against Pittsburgh and New Orleans, but wins are wins. Now they travel to Arizona to get back onto the NFC West track. Arizona squeaked by in Weeks 1 and 2 by 7 and 5 points, over the not-so-good Saints and Panthers. Both teams lost to the San Francisco 49ers.

Sunday Early Games – September 28

Vikings at Steelers – 9:30 a.m. ET (Ireland)

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
MIN Vikings-2.5 -115O 41.5 -115-148
PIT Steelers+2.5 -105U 41.5 -105+124

Carson Wentz led the Vikings to a 48-10 drubbing of the Bengals last week. What year is it? The Steelers are 2-1 and this iteration has a lean towards the offensive side of the ball. Not because the offense is great, but because the defense has been atrocious so far. This is a game on a different continent and in a future time zone, so stats may mean nothing.

Saints at Bills – 1 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
NO Saints+15.5 -110O 48.5 -110+900
BUF Bills-15.5 -110U 48.5 -110-1600

This is the largest spread on the slate, so you gonna have to put a ton of dollar bills down if you’re backing the Buffalo Bills. The Saints are 0-3 while the Bills are 3-0. The Saints have scored 13, 21 and 13 points while the Bills have put up 41, 30 and 31 points. This is David vs. Goliath, except this David has no stone in the slingshot.

Commanders at Falcons – 1 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
WAS Commanders-3 +100O 45.5 -110-155
ATL Falcons+3 -120U 45.5 -110+130

There’s a chance that Jayden Daniels returns for this one, as he’s been designated as day-to-day on Monday. If he’s unable to go, Marcus Mariota proved more than capable in Week 3 of producing and delivering a W. Atlanta looked like world beaters in Week 2 in Minnesota, then followed that up by getting skunked in Carolina and sulking home 30-point losers. Shrug.

Eagles at Buccaneers – 1 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
PHI Eagles-3.5 -108O 44.5 -110-175
TB Buccaneers+3.5 -112U 44.5 -110+145

The Eagles looked like a newborn turtle on offense in the first two weeks. Luckily, the defense continued to poke offenses with sharp talons. Last week, the Rams put up 356 yards of offense and led 26 to 21 entering the fourth quarter, forcing the Eagles to toss the shell aside and be aggressive. And they responded well. Now they face an undefeated Buccaneers team in Tampa Bay that has a good run defense but can be had in the secondary.

Titans at Texans – 1 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
TEN Titans+7 -110O 39.5 -110+275
HOU Texans-7 -110U 39.5 -110-345

Both teams have yet to win a game this season and both offensive lines are porous. 1+1=2. It’s a hefty spread, but Tennessee has to go on the road with a rookie quarterback against a Texans defense that has been solid. The Titans defense? Not so much. We should get an answer to the question of: Is the Texans offense broken?

Browns at Lions – 1 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
CLE Browns+8.5 -115O 45.5 -105+295
DET Lions-8.5 -105U 45.5 -115-375

The Browns defense is no joke, as they completely neutered a very good Packers offense. Just how scary are the Ravens, a team that put up 41 points on the Browns defense? Unfortunately, the offense is just as bad as the defense is good, having yet to score more than 17 points in any game. Quinshon Judkins has looked good and gives the offense some juice but the Lions are home and the offense is so explosive. Detroit will likely be putting up points in this one. Can Joe Flacco turn back the clock and go wacco?

Panthers at Patriots – 1 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
CAR Panthers+5.5 -108O 43.5 -110+195
NE Patriots-5.5 -112U 43.5 -110-238

Carolina got their first win of the season in impressive fashion, 30-0 over the Falcons in their home opener. New England is 1-2 after dropping both games at home to the Raiders and Steelers. Their lone win was against a Dolphins team that looks to be in disarray. Carolina is allowing the third-most yards per attempt on the ground at 5.4 on 53 carries. New England has a 2.8 yards per attempt on 68 carries, the second-lowest. Carolina has the fourth-best EPA per dropback, though, while New England has the sixth-highest.

Chargers at Giants – 1 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
LA Chargers-6 -110O 44.5 -110-285
NY Giants+6 -110U 44.5 -110+230

Last season, the Jim Harbaugh era was about setting the foundation, but whoops, they ended up winning 11 games. This season, it’s about winning and the Chargers are 3-0, with wins over the Chiefs and Broncos. The Giants are 0-3 and it may be Jaxson Dart season soon. Los Angeles has put the ball in Justin Herbert’s hands, and he’s delivered. The Giants defense has been poor against both the run and pass this season, but the defensive line can get pressure while the run defense is one of the worst, allowing the fifth-most EPA per carry and a whopping 5.2 yards per carry. It will be interesting to see how the Chargers offense navigates this one.

Sunday Late Games – September 28

Colts at Rams – 4:05 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
IND Colts+3.5 -110O 49.5 -110+160
LA Rams-3.5 -110U 49.5 -110-192

Daniel “Indiana” Jones is leading the league in EPA per dropback through three weeks! Doctor Jones! Doctor Jones! The collab between Jones, Shane Steichen and Jonathan Taylor has been Beatles-esque so far. Can the good times continue? The Rams have a legit offense, but Lou Anarumo is an excellent defensive coordinator. Both teams have played two cupcakes with one legitimate matchup – Denver for the Colts and Philadelphia for the Rams.

Jaguars at 49ers – 4:05 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
JAX Jaguars+3.5 -115O 46.5 -110+160
SF 49ers-3.5 -105U 46.5 -110-192

Jacksonville is 2-1, but the opponents have been Carolina, Cincinnati and Houston. San Francisco is undefeated but the team has been decimated by injury. The latest casualty was defensive end Nick Bosa, who is out for the season. There is a chance that Brock Purdy could return for this one, providing a boost for the offense.

Ravens at Chiefs – 4:25 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
BAL Ravens-2.5 -115O 48.5 -110-148
KC Chiefs+2.5 -105U 48.5 -110+124

Baltimore scored 40 and 41 points in the first two weeks of the season. They will likely put up a ton of points on Monday night. Kansas City has scored 21, 17 and 22 points this season. Steve Spagnuolo is a great defensive coordinator, but did you see what the Ravens did to the Browns defense in Week 2? You can never count out Patrick Mahomes.

Bears at Raiders – 4:25 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
CHI Bears-1.5 -105O 47.5 -110-115
LV Raiders+1.5 -115U 47.5 -110-105

Having a team in Las Vegas is nice, except for the team that calls Vegas home because opposing fan bases fly in like locusts through a corn field. Both teams are 1-2 but going in opposite directions. Chicago lost the first two games but found their footing last week, looking impressive on both sides of the ball. Las Vegas won their opener but have dropped the last two contests.

Sunday Night Game – September 28

Packers at Cowboys – 8:20 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
GB Packers-6.5 -115O 47.5 -105-298
DAL Cowboys+6.5 -105U 47.5 -115+240

Before the CeeDee Lamb diagnosis of a high-ankle sprain, which will likely cause him to miss around four weeks, the Packers were favored by 5.5 points. After getting beat up in Cleveland, this is a get-right spot for the Packers. Dallas is hobbling and licking wounds. The legs could get swept in this one.

Monday Night Games – September 29

Jets at Dolphins – 7:15 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
NY Jets+2.5 -102O 44.5 -115+124
MIA Dolphins-2.5 -118U 44.5 -105-148

This game had some appeal before the start of the season. Now? Neither team has won a game. At least there’s a chance of fireworks because Miami has allowed the highest EPA per dropback while New York is right behind in third.

Bengals at Broncos – 8:15 p.m. ET

Odds on Sunday, September 22

SpreadTotalMoneyline
CIN Bengals+7.5 -110O 44.5 -110+280
DEN Broncos-7.5 -110U 44.5 -110-355

This game made us all giggle with delight prior to the start of the season. Then Joe Burrow was lost to injury and now we have Jake Browning, who has to travel to Denver to face one of the best pass defenses in the NFL, with a suspect offensive line. Good times. NOT!
